Hi, I'm interested in becoming a nurse and I already know that there are "down falls" of becoming one, but I still would love to persue a nursing career. A friend of mine told me that certain branches of the military will pay for my college (I dont have a lot of money.) So... What is being a nurse or medic in the military all about?

Lose it and let gays openly serve?
Lose it and don't let gays serve?

and why?

I personally say lose it and let them openly serve, I do not think that there are anything wrong with gays in the millitary, if they want to protect this country they should be able to, it is their country too.

I have been a part of my grandchildren since they were born. Since my son is in prison and the mother of the children was using drugs, her parents gained custody of the children. The other grandmother is stopping me from having any visitation alone with them. Now she is only letting me see them for three hours a month with her in present and it is affecting all of us, mostly the children. I have a very clean and sober environment for four years now and her envoronment is not as well. I think she fears me in that matter. All I want is to be able to see my grandchildren and have sleep overs sometimes, we love each other very much. The only time they get to talk to their father is on the phone when they come over, that is now limited. I live in Washington State. Is there any rights? Is there a case that has won that I can reference. I am not willing to not see my children. In all reality, my home is a much healthier envoronment for them. Where are my rights?

Why don't you people move on. You spend all this time trying to sue somebody. GET OVER IT.

Is what ever it is that you are whining about the most important thing in your life. Is it worth a few years of your time to complete the law suit, only to give your lawyer 75 percent of the settlement?

I say move the heck on. What do you say?

Bush lied to the American people stating we had to invade Iraq because Sadam was hiding weapons of mass destruction yet none were found, not a single empty can was found and his lies have got thousands of American soldiers killed and tens of thousands of Iraqi civilians killed so why then were the die hard Bush supporters so mad at my earlier post?

Can't handle the truth? Maybe forgot that Bush is a lier ort just cjose to ignore his criminal acts that killed more Americans then Bim Laden and Sadam ever could have?

This American government,-what is but a tradition though a recent one, endevoring to trasmit itself unimpared to posterity, but each instant losing some of its integrity? It has not the nitality and force of a single living man; for a single man can bend it to his will. It is sort of wooden gun to the people themselves. But it is not the less necessary for this; for the people must have some complicated machinery or other, and hear its din, to satisfy that idea of government which they have. Governments show this how sucesssfully men can be imposed on, even impose on themselves for their own advantage. It is excellent, we must all allow. Yet this government never of itself furthered any enterprise, but by the alacrity with which it got out its way. it does not keep the country free. It does not settle the West. It does not educate. The character inherent in the American people has done all that has been accomplished.

What does this mean? It's a paragraph in Civil Disobedience.

I dunno... she looks like she is really an up tight ***** which is fine if we are going to have another war time president. I don't think there will be a solid choice this next go around ... which just leaves republican choices. I was for McCain but he doesn't seem to be able to pick a side and stay on it... he plays both sides it seems without taking a stand.

I am writing a paper on human rights and I would like others inputs on two questions I have adressed.

How do "YOU" see human rights as portrayed in the eyes of a liberalist, realist, and constructivist?

and

Which do you agree with the most and why?

I know people have written books on all of these ideas (mainly because I’m looking at some right now); however, I just want to get different peoples opinions on the matter.

ps I wont be using any of you ideas in my paper I hate plagarisum.
