Why don't you people move on. You spend all this time trying to sue somebody. GET OVER IT.

Is what ever it is that you are whining about the most important thing in your life. Is it worth a few years of your time to complete the law suit, only to give your lawyer 75 percent of the settlement?

I say move the heck on. What do you say?

Worse yet - some people going around trying to *create* reasons to sue people. For these creeps it's not so much about the money, it's about the chance to manipulate and have power over others.

You answered one of my questions that I posted about harassment at work.

I don't care If I get a dime out of the company (I'm serious) I just don't like thinking that other people are going to be harassed by these individuals I worked with.. and because I am a female I shouldn't get fired because I wouldn't give into my supervisors advances. It's not right and for someone to think I should just move and quit whining just hasn't had this happen to them. I did my job, I did it well. I didn't need to be retaliated against because some guy thought with his "penis" instead of his head.
I'm working with the Company to resolve the issue without seeking legal representation. I have a lot of respect for the company and it is a great place to work... But those people need to be reprimanded for their actions.

Frankly, I'm glad we have the right to sue if its for a good reason. For instance, if what was done to you makes it difficult to survive in life or leaves you with huge debts through no fault of your own.

I don't understand why some of these lawsuits even make it to court or how they find an attorney to represent them. EX. lady with burned crotch from McDonald's coffee or a thief who gets shot in your home. Is there more to these stories than they're telling? What even puts the idea in their head to sue for something like that? On what basis do they win? Where do they find the jurors? Its unbelievable.

If you are paying 75% you had better get another lawyer, the ones I deal with only want 40. If your lawyer is charging that much, there is only one logical thing to do, and you know what that is!
