It's a method of keeping us out of a recession but the problem is that eventually, it will catch up to us and cause more damage in the long run...

You must have included the president erroneously because he does not have the authority to do so, only the congress can approve it, CONGRESS controls the money.

And those now in control of the money are looking for some serious payback, they owe a lot of money to a lot of supporters and they are going to rob, rape and pillage our country like never before in history. Your taxes are going up, the economy will cease to grow and we will go deeper and deeper in debt while the congress grows richer and richer.

Balancing the budget would mean cuts in certain welfare programs. That would get the liberal's panties in a bunch. Some may say cut funding for the war instead, but really, since we're in Iraq we must provide funding to keep our soldiers armed and "reasonably safe". I think it comes down to the liberal's fear of cutting welfare.

The American dollar has become the international standard. Some countries use American money exclusively, and others use it along side of their own. Many international deals are conducted in American dollars. The world can't get enough of them, and Uncle Sam just keeps running the printing presses.

The US government chose to borrow money because its coffers had run out of money being spent in Iraq.
