OK, I'll play nice. I'm in a loving mood today. Not all conservatives are "backwards" or "rednecks". Dare I even say that most conservatives are not "evil"? Yes. Of course.
I will say, and this is meant with love, that practically all conservatives operate from paradigms or a set of beliefs that are unhealthy. For example: 1) Poor people are lazy moochers. 2) I won't share or help because money is scarce. 3) Everyone is out to destroy me, my beliefs, and the country. 4) And the biggest one: The US has never done anything wrong to any other country, so everything we do is right. These are just a few, and I know that from experience of 20+ years of being involved in politics. How sad it must be for the true conservatives. There is a piece inside every one of them that loves that negative thinking and "playing the victim".
I disagree with most conservative beliefs, if not all. I'm going to be very patient from now on, until the conservatives come around. In the meantime, I hope that they will see the truth.
