No. It was never considered an act of terrorism by anyone other than the islamic terrorists. The civilians of Iraq did not consider it an act of terror.

No! If you remember, they attacked first! The sectional division of Iraq needs to be settled to the point where the Shiites and the Sunni can live near each other without killing each other. Terrorism is the policy of using acts to inspire terror as a method of dealing with political opposition. We are trying to help the country of Iraq to become a democratic nation, not trying to terrorize all of the people of Iraq!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ( Just the terrorists who are killing people and our soldiers who want the death of America and all "infidels" we are trying to terrorize and kill or suppress or maybe knock some sense in to.

Goodness sake, get a dictionary. If we could just make up our own definitions like you are, we could associate your name with a definition for "Woefully ignorant".

Forget that Saddam tried to assassinate one of our Presidents, continually shot at our planes during the cease-fire between the Gulf Wars, and broke most of the agreements with the U.N. and U.S. during that time, bragging to his friends that he still had WMDs and was making fools out of the West and the U.N.

The U.N. threatened him with serious action, repeatedly, for more than a DECADE! They did nothing, like a toothless lion.

Go look up terrorism in a dictionary and try not to cherry-pick the definition.

Everything is related to power. Your first statement is nonsense.

Your second statement means that anyone strong has to endure the attacks of the weak just because they are stronger.

What utter nonsense. You sit still and let bugs eat you? That's stupid.

Because we use more effective methods against enemies who have attacked us, we should "level the playing field and play fair?"

What playground are you from? Fairness is a child's concept of justice. We have been just.

We don't owe Saddam or Iraq "fairness".

Grow up.

I am thinking more like an act of robbery and vandalism with a little murder thrown in on the side. Some how oil plays an enormous role in all of this.

Yes, Rumsfeld boasted about his shock and awe and we watched Baghdad being bombed with impunity.
There is no difference between a car bomb and one dropped from fifty thousand feet except the car bomber takes more risk

Our country thinks it can dictate the nuclear weapons programs of other sovereign nations, like Iran. If they don't do what we want, we bomb them. Hmmm, yeah, we're terrorists in the sense that we are bullies who care not for human life, but only for American life.

We didn't attack Iraq, we attacked terrorists using Iraq as a staging ground. And your self given title is an oxymoron if that's what you think.
