Is America tired of listening to communist supporters and supporters of undocumented workers? Liberal media supports Venezuela's Chavez and it likes Iran's leader. It probably thinks Iran just wants to give the U.S. flowers instead of planting nukes on American soil.

California newspapers laid off thousands of people last year. Many subscribers cancelled their subscriptions after newspapers supported undocumented workers' massive unpatriotic protests. One newspaper even gave instructions about how to hire undocumented workers. That was the last straw for a lot of people.

Please, let's keep this civil. Please refrain from remarks about how you think immigrants are ruining this country (that is a different discussion).

The truth is, I'm on the fence on this one, and would like to hear intelligent arguments from either side. If you can't provide an intelligent argument, please pollute someone else's question.

Long answers are better than short ones.

when in fact they have done more to set this country into a positive direction in the first 100 hours than the entire 7 years Bush has been in office.

For those of you who believe that 19 Arabs led by another sick Arab on dialysis in a cave on the other side of the plant managed to:
1) Out wit our trillion dollar defense,
2) Cause NORAD to stand down
3) Defy the laws of physics by causing 3 buildings to collapse at freefall speed without the use of explosives
4) And then miraculously survive the plane crashes (at least 7 of the 19 are still alive),
PLEASE PROVIDE PROOF OF YOUR THOERY

Former vice-president and global warming guru Al Gore Jr. received more than $500,000 in royalties from the owners of zinc mines, according to a report on Tennessean.com.

The mine owners held mineral leases on Gore's farm near Carthage, Tenn.

Before being shut down in 2003, the mines emitted thousands of pounds of toxic substances.

Reportedly, on several occasions, the water discharged from the mines into nearby rivers had levels of toxins above what was legal.

…But what I don't get is why are so many women against her? Don't you ladies realize what a triumph that would be for all women in America? I mean here’s woman who is intelligent, experienced and fully qualified to be president of the US, despite the fact that she’s a woman and all I see are stupid reasons posted like "I wouldn't want her around when she's pm-essing" (she's over that by now) or "she couldn't even control her cheating husband, how's she going to run the country?" (What’s his cheating have to do with it?"). Or still another cliché, "she's too polarizing" (Not true, Hillary is very diplomatic & if you take the trouble to study her track record, you'll find that she is a uniter, not a divider like Bush). So, is it jealousy or are you projecting your own insecurities through her? However, if you are, you need to realize that she's not like you. Hillary is what you should aspire to be, & hope that she can inspire your daughters so they too can be great achievers. When someone asks my daughter what are you going to be when you grow up, she can truthfully answer, I want to be president like Prez Hillary Clinton, and no one would roll their eyes & say: yeah, honey, sure......

These SOEs are not profit motivated but if they do make profits they shared by the nationals. Uder privatisation its the individuals to benefit at the expense of the poor masses. What is the motive? Read the link and feel free to shake your head and roll your eyes in furthered disgust and contempt for this Incompetent Chickenhawk Resident in Chief and his Cronies.

Obviously, the message sent to the Pentagon to TAKE CARE OF OUR VETS wasn't clear enough. In their scramble to find more soldiers, which of course they'll never admit to, army doctors, at someone in the Administration's request, have allegedly revamped the medical exams of soldiers unfit for duty to fit for service without an actual re-examination taking place. Despite the inability to continue serving in their trained capacity, the soldiers are being sent back. They aren't even being trained to do a job that would compensate for their disablility!!

It's bad enough that we have to catch up with the illegal activities of this Administration from the past six years. Now we need to investigate them on the fly!!

Hello, I have a Japanese fiance and we are trying to set a date for marriage sometime this year. I have looked all over the internet and I am just confused. I have heard many different things. I just want to know what it takes to get married, and then live in Japan for a couple of years for work. After 2 years or so I want to return to the US and go back to school. If anyone could shed some light on what I need, and where I need to go to get what I need, I would truly be grateful! Thank you...

My boyfriend was arrested last night (St. Patrick's Day) for disorderly conduct. Big deal, but not the end of the world. Except that he is in the military. Can someone please help me understand what the procedure for him is from here? And what is the difference between this and public drunkeness? Is this charge serious enough to be kicked out the military?
