I heard on CNN today that some of the death squads are supported by the new government of Iraq. Sounds like they just substituted Hussein for another deranged bunch of killers.
The death squads are members of their police. Now what?

you clearly do not know much about Iraq. The vast majority of Iraqis did not want the military, which had caused so many problems for them, to remain. This is the same explanation for the de-baathification. nobody would work with these people.
