when in fact they have done more to set this country into a positive direction in the first 100 hours than the entire 7 years Bush has been in office.

The funny thing is they think that the current efforts to block legislation are inconsequential and politically correct. Who knows what their thinking. The fact is that 21 (R) are up for re-election in Nov. 2008. The ones that are up for office haven't done enough grandstanding when they side with the Dems to make a difference insofar. The Conservative controlled mass-media--(liberally biased as so well noted by (R)'s)--isn't the powerful propaganda machine it once was. The internet has proven to be the common link between people that promote mainstream political philosophy and the need for change. Like all "out of touch" entities, they are behind the curve when it comes to what we want and even the election this past November wasn't enough to get their attention.

Judging by some of the other responses, the believers of rhetoric and illusion are alive and well in their denial.

Well the are little propagandabots so what's new, I like watching them squirm as Henry Waxman's committee starts it's work , can you say good bye Alberto (tortures ok) Gonzales, heads are going to roll finally for all the scandal, corruption, cronyism, and sheer ineptitude of the last 6 1/2 years and it's great to watch my Country restore it's values and to see good Governance in action

Funny question! Esp since G.W. Bush has been cleaning up all of the foreign policy problems than billy clinton cause by only addressing problems that were easy, and neglecting the rest (i.e. not getting osama bl when the Sudan offered him to us. etc.). The biggest thing billy did was to bomb an aspirin factory in the Sudan, coincidentaly on the first day of monica's testimony. Now that's a leader! Killing people to distract the US media and commiting perjury. Yall must be proud!

First of all, Bush has not been President for seven years, yet.

Second of all, your perspective determines whether or not the Democratic plan, is a "positive direction", not their actual actions.

Lets be more specific. America faces some tough issues. Border security, a need for comprehensive immigration reform, changes needed in National health care and Social Security so what do they do? Pass a minimum wage law for the 2% of the American public that earns minimum wage. Give me a break..........
