Read the link and feel free to shake your head and roll your eyes in furthered disgust and contempt for this Incompetent Chickenhawk Resident in Chief and his Cronies.

Obviously, the message sent to the Pentagon to TAKE CARE OF OUR VETS wasn't clear enough. In their scramble to find more soldiers, which of course they'll never admit to, army doctors, at someone in the Administration's request, have allegedly revamped the medical exams of soldiers unfit for duty to fit for service without an actual re-examination taking place. Despite the inability to continue serving in their trained capacity, the soldiers are being sent back. They aren't even being trained to do a job that would compensate for their disablility!!

It's bad enough that we have to catch up with the illegal activities of this Administration from the past six years. Now we need to investigate them on the fly!!

I was sent to Iraq less than four months after knee surgery. I could have gotten out of the deployment if a b*tched and moaned about it. Buy I went, because of a little thing called duty.
There are some that get sent that should not have been sent. If there is something seriously wrong with a soldier, it is up to that soldier and is chain of command to make sure he is fit before he is deployed. If that cannot be achieved, he needs to be given nodeployable status.
The final decision falls on the individual unit. You can not blame the pentagon for a decision some piss-ant commander made, The problem is with the unit leaders, not the pentagon.

What are you, a reporter for the NY Times....why don't you check sources and actually verify something instead of taking an article off of a leftist site that is basically a blog....

Its ridiculous how much libel and lying gets passed off as fact just because it is in black and white on the freaking Internet...any bozo can put something on the Internet....your a prime example

Did you ever in my opinion journey the draft? I did. Being a senior in extreme college on the time, we were all questioning if we ought to finally end up in Vietnam. countless the people i be conscious of that were drafted skipped to different international locations to prevent the conflict. it really is a terrible information that you're being called to conflict and performance no say in the count number. pretty a conflict in which we were no longer being promptly threatened. except you've served and been there or via it, your ideas are in simple terms that... ideas no longer in accordance with journey.

This type of accusation is ridiculous, however, the military medical exams are a joke, and getting help is even worse, I am going through this same problem right now, and they want to take a rank away from me, this medical service is a joke and the way I have been treated so far is beyond imagination, Last year I stood in the IOWA state capitol building before the congress of IOWA, for the commanding general's condition of the guard speech, and was applauded before the whole Congress, my mother and my daughter, then i was left to hang out and dry for almost a year before i got any assistance.

conspiracy theory's only make thinking people avoid you.

to be 20 and a conservative is to be heartless,
to be forty and a liberal is to be brainless. :Winston Churchill:

Talk to a real soldier that's been there not the phonies who play pretend on this site and you will learn who the real enemy is.

why aren't you bitchin about Bosnia? We went in there against the UN's wishes. Milosevic was a good will ambassador compared to Hussein.

It's called being brainwashed by anti capitalist propaganda.

Yea right.

Like we should believe salon.com when they write on a subject they know nothing about.

Here is a clue for the clueless: wounded soldiers get medical treatment in order for their wounds to heal. An most of the time - after their wounds are healed - they are 'fit for duty.'

Or are you one of those idiots who think that every soldier with a purple heart is crippled for life?

I am certain the VA or DOD would not be doing this. Looks like a Surgeon General of the Army debacle.
