None, because anyone who is pro-amnesty is a Hispanic illegal alien, or a legal Mexican in the USA, and afraid if they go to Mexico, they'll be mistaken for a Mexican National, and refused entrance back into the USA. In other words, NO American citizens are pro-amnesty.

Does the pro illegals know how much money the Americans send to Mexico in aid so that the Mexican government help their citizens and every day they are more and more poor than the day before. Do you know how much money the illegals send every year to Mexico and they still don't see any advance in their country. Do you know how many American companies are in Mexico giving jobs to the Mexican and their government don't do nothing to raise their minimum wages or better their conditions. Do you know that Mexico will not accept no foreigner to buy in Mexico because they are anti foreigners. Do you know that they will not permit intellectual foreign to come to their land because they will not permitted. AND now these pro amnesty people here in the USA think that we should give these illegals our country in addition to all the help that they are getting. All of them should go to Mexico and help them and leave our country the USA to the Americans that we have fought so hard to keep and defend.

I'm not pro-amnesty so I haven't done any volunteer work abroad. I have done volunteer work here though. Figure you have to clean your own house first before you go telling everybody else how to run theirs. Beleive it or not.....I did want to join the peace corp at one time. Chickened out when they showed a film of volunteers being drawn and quartered......it's always interested me but I guess I'm a coward. Guess I figured I'm too mouthy and opinionated to survive in other cultures. I did have a WONDERFUL college professor who spent the majority of her adult life in the Amazon jungles. She couldn't wait to go back. She said just getting off the plane was like getting jolted with a cattle prod. The tension was so thick you could cut it with a knife. Which is why I'm not so sold our way of life is the best and only way. I just know equally there are other ways of life which don't work here.

There are many cross-border projects in which Americans contribute their time and resources to help improve the situation in Mexico. No doubt some of those participating feel amnesty is an appropriate answer to the immigration issue. You won't finds those folks on this forum, they are busy trying to help.

I do. In Guatemala, not Mexico.

To all the ones above me: what do you do for your people? Apparently nothing since all you do is whine and complain in online answer sites.
