I am dating an American and I live in Canada and we cross back and forth across the border twice a week, my question is how long will this be allowed for until the customs guys stop us from going back and forth? As well, is it permissable for him to live in Canada and still work in the U.S. since it seems more likely of that happening than for me to work here and live in the U.S.?

I am sure he doesn't use alot, right? I mean, he is SO concerned for the environment. He must use all solar power, so he doesn't contribute any greenhouse gases, correct?

Also, when he is going around the country promoting his movie, he probably drives a Prius everywhere, right? I KNOW he doesn't fly a big gas-burning jet, correct?

And what about Susan Sarandon and Alec Baldwin, and the other celebrity types? Have they sold their gas-burning jets, and simply drive cross-country in a Prius?

Actually, they shouldn't sell their jets, they should destroy them. If you sell them, someone else will simply burn those bad gases into the atmosphere.

So have all of these guys completely stopped using gasoline, since they want us to??

Obviously, Bush squandered the good will we have had to work for all these years. Now, after a very stupid war that just makes us look like bullies on the world scene, we have to use a fresh face in the White House in 2009 to get the free world back on our side. What exactly would the best ideas be for a new president to accomplish this?

Okay, I don't have all of the information but here is what I do know. My friend is 18 hers old. Her family moved here when she was 8 years old. She attended a regular school here in the US. She graduated from high school here and now attends my college. She doesn't have a SS# so I can't even figure out how she is attending college but she is. Her mom and dad tells her that they lost her passport. They apparently have filed for green cards but haven't heard anything since they have been in the US. Her older brother went to get help with the matter but he got deported instead. Now she is stuck because she has no passport, no green card, no ss#. She can't work and neither can her family. They have to take cash jobs. How can I help her get the right stuff done so that she can be legal?

Gore wants us to believe the sky is falling, the UAW (aka a liberal cornerstone) says higher MPA standards would crush the auto industry. Libs oppose a war they say is about oil, but would like us to end our reliance on foriegn oil. Reduce the amount of people who live under the poverty line, but tax the businesses that could employ them. Stand up for the right of frivelous law suits, but health care should be affordable to all. More diversity in positions of power, but call those that get there house slaves. Reduce the deficit but more social programs needed. Take care of our senior citizens, but raise the minimum wage so that those on fixed income have less. Maintain our liberties, but don't defend us from those who want us not to have any. Hate the narrow-minded bigots in our country, but don't fire upon a narrow-minded enemy. Keep murderers alive but not innocent babies. Don't outsource our labor, but make sure our labor gets more for doing less. I am out of characters.

I am sure you have heard many Democrats remark about how stupid George Bush is, right? Well, a couple of years ago, A columnist decided to see exactly how smart THESE people were. He dug into the education of many liberal Hollywood celebrities, and this is what he found:

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1019961/posts

Now, I know this article is from the Free Republic, but they just got it from the opinion column of a newspaper. I checked them all, and they all are correct.

Anyway, it turns out most of these Hollywood types never even graduated from college, and a few didn't even graduate from High School!

But, of course, they are smarter than George Bush, who has degrees from both Yale AND Harvard.

What do you guys think of this?

A credit card I carry just raised my APR from 12.74 to 26.99!!! NOT because I was over the limit or late on payments.....but because (1) I was using their card and (2) because I have credit with OTHER companies (NO LATE PAYS/NO OVER LIMIT on the other companies either). It does state that they have the right to change their terms...most cards do have that clause, but it seems ethically and morally WRONG for them to LEGALLY penalize their customers because they have credit elsewhere (which is none of their business) and/or because their customers take advantage of their (initial) low interest balance transfer specials (this is what I did). ANY LEGAL EAGLES OUT THERE WITH ADVICE??? I AM STILL FUMING!!!

How much jail time might someone get for failing a drug test?
My boyfriend just got back from prison in august of 2006
He was charged with possesion of a controlled substance, (meth), he was told he could have up to six years but only spent 6 months in the idaho department of corrections. He recently took a drug test and failed for meth and marijuana, Im guessing if he gets sentenced this time around it will be more than just 6 months, seeing as how he has spent time already. He is 20 years old and this has been the only problem on any criminal records so does anyone have a guess on how much jail time he could be facing?
