Well its under Mexican law. I believe he was charged with depriving the liberties of others or something like that and bounty hunting. Both are illegal in Mexico. Illegal immigrants and Mexico taking its time in extraditing that rapist are not at issue in Dogg's trial. One may say its unfair for the Mexican judicial system to thow the book at him. But its their laws, land and sovergeinty. the Unites States can submit a format complaint.

Duane, Leland and Tim broke a minor law of deprivation of liberties in Mexico. A bogus charge.
The additional facts of this: Luster was found to have GHB in his hotel, a list of people he planned to "get even with" including the judge, his victims, and various other people, he had a list of catch phrases translated into spanish to help him pick up women and was captured in a night club frequented by college co-eds (all nationalities).
More facts: Mexico did NOT send Luster back to the states based on his conviction in absentia for 84 counts of rape, but because he entered their country under an assumed name. Trial in absentia is not recognized as legally binding in Mexico.
So, with all that in play - there is no way in hell we should extradite these three men to Mexico.
Tell ya what - when Mexico takes back all it's illegals here in the US, then we will consider giving them our citizens over bogus charges.

I didnt know he had actaully been jailed, I will have to look it up to see how long he got. I signed a petition to keep him out of jail, it obviously didnt work. Hope he gets out soon, as if it wasnt for him, that rapist might still be on the loose.

Its Mexican law, not US. Bounty hunting is illegal in Mexico. I can see the arguments for and against such a law but the fact is he knew it was illegal and he did it anyway. He has guts for risking time in a Mexican prison. I don't think he will ever go to prison though and that is a good thing.

No...but unfortunately our and the Mexican judicial system is very flawed! We need to be reaching out to him and his family. Dog has shown people that not only is there 2nd chances in life but that you can be a productive person in society and make a difference. He is a good and fair man. He believes in God, family, people, and we need more men to step up to the plate and be these things for their families.

http://www.honoluluadvertiser.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=2007702160373 Just so everyone knows who this great "Dog" man is, what he did and why. Yet, we allowed a man of sick thoughts in to our country do his dirty work and he fled back to his country to hide. We don't need stricter immigrations laws...go figure.Atleast Mr. Chapman was man enough to admit his wrong doings and can take the punishment like a REAL MAN.

NO!! Absolutely not, he was doing his job!!! But on the other side if he was aware of the law he should have taken some precautions to have it legally taken care of. I feel really bad for him and his family.

Quite frankly,I don't know how anybody can watch that trash..... He is WAYYY to old to dress like that and is obviously a case of arrested development.
He and his mental midget cronies appeal to the very baseline bottom of the television watching public.
