It has been convienently forgotten by the public-- but there still remains the Fact that Bush made a deal with the Saudis -- that said-- hold prices down until I take the election and then you can do as you feel with the price !!--- It has been documented in at least three seperate books that this deal actually DID take place !! AND take a look at the FACT that exactly one month to the day that the man took the oath of office---- gas prices jumped from a basic $1.19 per gallon to somewhere near $ 1.60 per gallon and have been going up in increments ever since !!! And, you haven't heard him say a single negative word about it at all ---and you never will !!!!

False......
Professor Joseph Olson of Hamline University School of Law, S t. Paul, Minnesota, points out some interesting facts concerning the 2000 Presidential election:
Number of States won by: Gore: 19; Bush: 29
Square miles of land won by: Gore: 580,000; Bush: 2,427,000
Population of counties won by: Gore: 127 million; Bush: 143 million
Murder rate per 100,000 residents in counties won by:
Gore: 13.2; Bush: 2.1
Professor Olson adds: "In aggregate, the map of the territory Bush won was mostly the land owned by the taxpaying citizens of this great country.
Gore's territory mostly encompassed those citizens living in
government-owned tenements and living off various forms of government welfare..."
We are at fault for the price of gas because we continue to buy from the companies that charge the most. If we made a point to always buy from the station with the lowest price then it would force a price war which would drive down the price of gas.

False. Bush did not steal office. Gore tried to steal it but his plan did not work. Remember, dispite all the retoric, no matter how many times the votes in Florida were recounted Gore never came out ahead. Not one time.
According to the Florida State Constitution just as in all state constitutions and the U.S. Constitution, the judicary has no role in elections. If Al Gore or anyone else had a dispute he should have taken it to the State Legislature. The court should not have even listened to him let alone rule. Their error forced the U.S. Supreme Court to rule not who won the election but that the State Supreme Court had no jurisdiction.
There are three equal branches of governement. Elections are controlled by the legislative branch.

let's clear things up. First there are many factors that determine oil prices, the biggest factor is OPEC. An organization whose members dislike the US. Also oil companies and the media like to use scare tactics such as war to boost prices as well.
Secondly, Bush didn't steal office, 51% of registered voters voted for him so what does that tell you.
Lastly, if your so concerend about gas prices rising then try and reduce the amount you drive.

Stole Office? Obviously you are a communist. Do you have any idea what the market forces behind gas prices are or are you shooting off your liberal yap without knowing what you are talking about just like the rest of your bleeding heart ilk?
Next time, have some idea of what you are spouting off about before you make a fool of yourself in a public forum for all the world to see. Psst don't look now, but your ignorance is showing..

No, you pinhead. Gas prices have not doubled since president Bush took office.
The national average price of a gallon of self-service regular was $1.52 in December 2000.
The average cost today is $2.54. In Indiana where I live, it's less than that!
Think about it... it took nearly 8 years to rise less than $ 1. Holy crap, you are a whiner.
Gasoline prices in the United States, which have recently hit record highs, are actually much lower than in many countries. Drivers in some European cities, like Amsterdam and Oslo, are paying nearly 3 times more than those in the U.S.
The main factor in price disparities between countries is government policy. Many European nations tax gasoline heavily, with taxes making up as much as 75 percent of the cost of a gallon of gasoline.
In a few Latin America and Middle-East nations, such as Venezuela and Saudi Arabia, oil is produced by a government-owned company and local gasoline prices are kept low as a benefit to the nation's citizens.

there are distinct elements that make contributions to ameliorations in gas value, yet many of the replace may be defined by ability of grant and insist, the straightforward foundation of economics. the concept explains that once call for for a sturdy declines, the price will decline. the option is likewise real. at the same time as call for for a sturdy will strengthen, the price will also upward thrust. in the fall of 2008 at the same time as Bush replaced into in workplace, the everyday gas value in united states replaced into at its all time height above $4.00 in line with gallon. yet at the same time as the market crashed and human beings lost a lot of money, the consumers spent a lot less money on products, including gas. This brought concerning the gas call for to plummet to a clean low of $a million.80 - 2.00. yet because the monetary equipment began to steadily get well, further and extra consumers began to spend more beneficial, and this brought concerning the gas value to achieve over $3.00. Many have self assurance that President Obama is at fault for the upward thrust in gas expenditures, in spite of the undeniable fact that the president has little or no to do with it. They argue that the president's power coverage hinders oil production and that united states is too depending on oil from the middle East. yet, truly, the U.S. oil production is at its maximum in a lot of years ,and, as of those days, the U.S. annual oil production price is outgrowing the different oil generating countries'. as well, the share of oil we export from the middle East may wonder you, that's in undemanding words 12.9 % (8.a million Saudi Arabia).

Actually, gas prices went down considerable this past fall and winter. As the summer approaches, more people are going to be travelling, going on vacation, so the demand is going to be more, hence the price is going to go up. Besides I thought that we invaded Iraq so that gas prices would go down? Take a course in economics and think for yourself.
