Is there some significance to YA conservatives capitalizing Barrack Obama’s middle name? Is it because it’s such a common name? Conservatives surely don’t mean something negative by it, do they?

Everyday we read that our monies are being wasted as a result of project overruns in most government departments and financial mismanagement such as child credit overpayments.

Is this not another cheat and retreat? Gonzales is known for Torture, that is his personal legacy. Will he recommend torturing U.S. justices? The vindictive retribution is clear. These are republican justices that were leaned on, threatened and smeared. Should Gonzales resign?

Years ago, privacy was a major component of FREEDOM. A free man enjoyed privacy; a slave or prisoner did not. Today, we are urged to renounce our privacy, but why?

I view personal "freeness" as a linear spectrum where one end is marked "slave/prisoner" and the other is marked "free".

Each step we take in restricting or expanding personal sovereignty, equals a step toward either freedom or slavery.

Privacy, independence, and self-determination are all hallmarks of a free man. When we reduce any of these, we walk toward slavery.

When I hear someone say, "There oughta be a law against (fill in the blank)." I usually wonder what it is about slavery that they like so much.

What about you? Where do you stand on the Freedom Spectrum? Closer to slavery, or closer to freedom?

On the larger scale, remember this: Tyrannical governments ALWAYS reduce citizen's privacy, while simultaneously increasing governmental secrecy. Where has this occurred, recently?

I decided a while ago to try to avoid (complete avoidance being virtually impossible) buying US goods in a unilateral protest against the continued illegal and immoral detention of prisoners, without trial, at Guantanamo Bay. My theory is that a weakened US economy would reduce the Reopublican's chances of getting re-elected and hence maybe result in Guantanamo being shut down. Also, if Americans see that foreign protests against Guantanamo are hurting their economy, they are more likely to vote or protest or act in such a way so that it gets shut down.

I may only be able to make a small difference by myself, but is this the right thing to do? Would it be right to promote such a boycott so that others might join it? It seems such action is one of the few ways foreigners could have a real influence whilst acting within the law? Any thoughts would be appreciated.

This is important!
Why do you think Bank of America is offering credit cards to illegals--because soon there will be no illegals---we will be one big happy continent!

You can also google NAFTA superhighway!
The government is already confiscating privately owned land in Texas for development of the first lanes of this superhighway! Through the Eminent Domain Laws passed in 2005!

A number of servicemen who appeared on "60 Minutes" have sent a petition, called "Appeal For Redress," to their individual members of Congress, letting them know that "Staying in Iraq will not work" and it's "tine for U.S. troops to come home." The Appeal for Redress provides a way in which individual service members can appeal to their Congressional Reppresentative and US Senators to urge an end to the U.S. military occupation. Should soldiers serving on active duty be allowed to protest a war in which they are fighting? Why or why not?

In response to the Discovery Channel running a special about finding the bones of Christ, I put together a powerpoint using pictures of Christ I got off Yahoo image and 2 songs about Christ from a CD that I own. I have given credit to both Yahoo image and the persons who own the songs and even told where they could buy the songs. Is that breaking copyright laws?

There is always the same car parked a few doors down from my house, a guy sits in it and reads the paper, one time I walked past and noticed him asleep in it.

I didnt think anything of it at first, but now im seeing him and his car at other locations, a few times close to work, at the shops. He followed me one day, after i slowed down and started following him, he pulled into a side street and pretended to be looking at a map book, like he was lost.

I tried walking up to his car while he was outside my house, but he just drove away, and I'v caught him snooping around my rubbish bin on rubbish days, I think he looks thru it!

Some nights he shines a laser pointer thru my windows, when im watching tv, or when im in bed, I get phonecalls from private numbers, and they just hang up when I answer.

I feel like im going crazy!! Does this sound like a private investigator? Can I stop it? What are my rights?

Anyone remember what Taking point was back in the old days?
I seem to recall that meant going just slightly ahead of the Patrol , not traveling the patrol route all night and then sending
out the troops ,that would have been a deadly mistake , and still is , I am not saying that those who do go on clearing patrols fail to do their jobs , I`m sure they are all good at their jobs , I am just curious as to why the route clearing guys are so far ahead of the convoy to allow pop and drops in the first place. I think priority should be given to the job of securing the route . And this would also require strict attention to the distance between the convoy and the engineers doing the clearing. I would personnaly stay close enough to "POP" those pop and dropers , And hopefully no murder charges !!
Oh , One individual called me an old timer ------- Hey i am still around to ask questions . Will you be???
