Is this not another cheat and retreat? Gonzales is known for Torture, that is his personal legacy. Will he recommend torturing U.S. justices? The vindictive retribution is clear. These are republican justices that were leaned on, threatened and smeared. Should Gonzales resign?

The objective of the Washington administration is to remove judges who do not agree with its agenda and pack the courts with like-minded individuals...That is what Gonzales is attempting to do. Mr. Bush is truly an evil man and is doing everything he can to ruin our country..... He doesn't realize that we are a strong and powerful nation that has overcome so much in our history...we will overcome his administration and once again be American, the beautiful with liberty and justice for all.

One can't lose confidence in someone they never had confidence in from the beginning. Gonzales should have resigned years ago. Once he returns to the private sector, I believe many, perhaps most, of his legal colleagues will treat him as a pariah.

Yikes! A bit off the deep end I'd say. I don't any respect for the man but I think you go a little beyond the evidence.

I'd like him to resign but I doubt that will happen any time soon.
