Assuming liberal bias in the media is true, should we demand a government sponsored newspaper and network?

Technically we already have a government sponsored network . . . PBS the government is not the only sponsor of PBS but it is one of them. I think most people would agree that PBS still has a liberal bias. A strictly government run media outlet would probably have the same problems. I think the solution is to be critical of what you see and read and to get your news form a variety of different sources.
