I was told by a friend that by law, a worker must be given at least 3 hours of work once he arrives at work if he was not notified beforehand that he should not come in. Is this true?

hi i have watched a clockwork orange and i do understand it at all. it is something that i have to work on for a project in school. i need to write an entire report, maybe if someone who understand the movie can answer me some questions i am alittle baffled by?
why was alex the way he was before he was reformed?
what did violence mean to him? and his attitude towards people?
how did he feel about music was his taste in music normal ?
is the society Alex lives in different from ours or not?
how come the attempt to reform alex failed?!
and whats the moral of this movie?

set fire to a small ammount of paper with his friend, in a lane.he did lie to us that he was next door on his friends x box.but in truth went up the road and set fire to some paper.wrong i know.someone saw him and shouted at them.naturally they ran away.police passing by stopped them and charged them with arson,are we living in a police state or what.i am not condoning what he did and he has been punished but for god sake u got muggers rapist ,terrorist and the like and the old bill waste god know how many hours wasting there time on something like this.easier to slap him round the head and bring him home .yes or no.?????????????/

A relative of mine called and cursed my mother out. I texted them & told them 2 stop b4 we c them in court. Now they continually text my phone with horrid messages. I asked them several times to stop texting my phone finally I got tired & went off. In my Public Admin class we discussed how when Ford created the Pinto in the 60s it knew that it would explode when in collisions at 25 mph.

Ford also knew how to fix the problem, but performed a cost benefit analysis for the product liabilty (including funeral costs) vs. the cost of making the car safe.

Why didn't the Ford execs go to jail? And would the execs been criminally posecuted today?

Does anyone know about how long it would be before they send me off to boot camp or does it just depend of job availability? I am a beneficiary of a will...the will has been read. No one who is in the will was invited to the reading of the will. How are we to know what was left to us if we weren't there for the reading? will a copy of the will be sent to us? Why won't the executor tell us how much money was left to us? he says it's substantial, he says we can have a percentage of it in 3 months...how come he won't tell us the exact amount of money that was left to us?
