There was a guy named JD who used to post on here who had some very interesting information on McCain as a war vet. Essentially it indicated that war vets have more reason to dislike McCain than most of us do. I wish he could post it again, but like many I am afraid he got fed up with being deleted.

I do find it interesting that the elected councilmen straw poll in Maricopa county found Duncan Hunter to be the best Presidential candidate and McCain to be highest on the 'most impossible candidate list' though. I also read today that McCain has asked that his name not be on the new version of the Kennedy bill about to be introduced (although he still supports it.)

In honor of JD I looked this up, I think it is what he is talking about. At least it says similar things and is by a vet group that doesn't seem to like McCain, at all. I don't know the group, myself.

McCain's "daddy" and "grand daddy" were BOTH Admirals in the U. S. Navy!!!!!! How "badly" do you REALLY think HE was treated??!!! They( his captors) probably gave him preferrential treatment!!!! The only thing i read about his ever being injured, does NOT specify HOW, or WHEN those injurys came about. After all, he WAS shot down, so those injuries could have been a result of the crash!!
Being captured does NOT automatically make one a "hero"!!!

I would NEVER vote for McCAin!!!!!!! He is in bed with Kennedy!!!!

He was not a HEE-ROW. He was not very good at evading being an easy target for some anti-aircraft tools. 5 Years? just deserts for being just that good. He was just a little too slow on the throttle.
