They're working fairly well in my opinion. No significant economic downturn has happened since their passage - just good ol' slow & steady economic growth.

However, government needs to get spending under control. In my opinion this should be accomplished by spending cuts rather than tax increases.

As a middle class working person when the tax cuts were passed, I did not see much of a difference in my paycheck or my refund.

The only people who benefitted from these tax cuts were the uber rich as mentioned by the first poster.

Yeah, let's cut government spending, the lion's share of which has been spent on wars against countries that pose no threat, and that have done nothing but create more terrorists.

Cut pensions and free health care for politicians. Let them invest their OWN money in 401K and live on social security and Medicare like the rest of us.

Let's invest in education, affordable health care and border security, I don't mind paying taxes for these things, though I think the income tax and the IRS should be abolished and a flat tax on everything but basic necessities collected by the states who would give a small percentage to the federal government for basic administration and national security. Otherwise everything would be handled by the states.

The federal government is a rotten, corrupt black hole that flushes our money down the toilet and gives it to the military-industrial complex while the common folk get screwed harder and deeper.

Washington, DC should be bulldozed.

Working just great..... For Warren Buffit and Bill Gates, the rest of us will have to take care of the debt.

If you wish to pay more in taxes, be my guest. Why wouldn't you want to keep more of your hard earned money.
