Mind your own business if you want to keep a friend. The past is past.

Well, you could ask them. Or you could get a background check on them. The site I go to for that is http://www.employeescreen.com/, but I'm sure there are better ones then that. You could look them up at http://www.zabasearch.com/, which gives you links you can use to background check them and those sites might better be suited for your needs. Keep in mind, though, that almost all background check sites will ask for a little bit of money, and some of those sites are scams. It's up to you if you want to spend money to find out if someone has gone to jail. The more advanced sites that cost more will also give you stuff like medical records, and pretty much his life's resume. So you want to go for a cheaper site, which will just give you the big stuff you're friend has done. This is one of those things where more expensive is better quality but you just want the cheap stuff. Unless, of course, you want to stalk your friend. Good luck.

Ask him. Chances are if he's not telling anyone, its a part of his life he's trying to forget, just let bygones be bygones. Don't push an issue. If he was in jail before, does that change him? I know people have been jailed before, just becaue they've been to jail, doesn't mean that thier a bad person. I've met people who have been to jail and they are some of the nicest people in the world. Ask, if he doesn't answer, let it drop.

There are background check websites that can do a simple check for a fee. If you don't trust this person why are they your friend and what kind of friend are you to snoop on them? I have 3 real friends for that very reason. I know lots of people, but only three are truly friends.

We have a web site " Wisconsin Circuit Court Acess " All ya need is name, d.o.b. if your really lucky, a SS # & it will really pull records from as far as 10 yrs. They will disclose state & local registered SEX OFFENDERS in that state. Maybe your state has a web site that you can look up, for free. I learned to ck. out new boyfriends. I HAVE to know my children are safe to be around him. I suggest any one, that if they even have a "feeling" about some one to ck'em out! Good Luck ! Marie

This information is protected by law. Court records are public... criminal history is confidential and protected by law. Anyone who provides it to you is guilty of a felony..
