If it's handled like the Israeli and Lebanon War or any other disputes they've overseen in the past... the U.N. will do NOTHING but, insist we have to talk about it.

BBC News UK has learned that the US has advanced contingency plans regarding Iran. These include air-strikes which extend beyond alleged nuclear sites, ie. air bases, naval bases & missile & command controls & most of the countrys infrastructure. The US says it is not planning an attack but is trying to persuade Iran of its need to adhere to UN resolutions.
This sure sounds like some 'heavy persuadin'.

I think the media is currently pressing americans to buy into an idea called islamofascism. Fascism is in my understanding a government system based on a strong centralized government, a strong military, the popular perception of decreased personal liberties, system wide racism as well a rampant nationalism. With the patriot act, current military spending, the demonization of Islam, the number of people who watch Fox as a news source (likely extreme nationalists) who is the fascist?? Maybe it should be the rise of Christofascism.

I am not really looking for a lecture on road safety and I know your training covers what you do but I just want the answer to this question. You police can legitimately, in emergency situations such as to catch a speeding civillian or delivering a transplant organ, drive to the maximum capability of yourself and your vehicle. Although you do it for a job, do you sometimes find it absolutely thrilling and satisfying to do that?

I'm cautiously optimistic, but I have cynical reservations about whether it will really make any difference to the UK and the USA.

I always knew there was a possibility he would have to go somewhere, but iwe have a 3 year old, 2 year old, 1 year old, and I am due to have a baby in June. He leaves in july, I have no family to run home to like most women, no one at this base to help me, and no programs here to help me out, I already called the chaplain and family support center. I don't know how I am going to go to the grocery store when 3 of my kids have to be in a cart, or to the dr office (I have to go once a month for a medical condition). The child care providers on my base can NOT be trusted and our CDC is always full. What am I supposed to do? Whoever said the Air Force is family-friendly is full of crap, they don't care if we make it ok or not. Sorry but I am sick of these people who claim the Air Force is so great for families. my husband didn't volunteer for this and I am afraid after a year of not having to take care of me or kids, he won't want to come back to us! How do I get him out of this!!!???

my son had accidentally left the van door open when we came home at night. i left my phone in there to charge on the car charger. my dad woke me up when he had passed by my house and saw my van door open. i went out and the person/people had threw all papers everywhere including everything in the glove compartment. my cell phone was gone, my bfs bape hoody, and my christmas present for my nephew i had never got to give. well i canceled my phone and now i dont know if i should turn it back on so they can use it, and when i get my replacement phone to see who they are after reading about the stolen sk from new york. and if i do find them, ill be pressing charges against them for unlawfully entering and stealing my belongings and trashing my van. if that is a good idea...
