I'm cautiously optimistic, but I have cynical reservations about whether it will really make any difference to the UK and the USA.

In the US if the Republicans win, it will mean more of the same as far as American intervention in the Middle East. If the new president is a Democrat, the war in Iraq will be phased out, if it isn't already done by elections. The war in Afghanistan will be another story. I believe we will have troops there, along with UN peacekeepers for a decade or so. As for Britain, your troops will be removed from Iraq before too long anyway. I believe Blair made a mistake by unwittingly following Bush's every move, and he casted believability in faulty US intelligence. At least Blair has a brain. In my opinion he's very astute & intelligent. He just made the wrong decision in this case. I watch C-span and the House of Commons on TV so I've seen him at "work".

India has the two the top minister to boot because of the fact the president.The top minister is elected jointly as the president is likewise elected by utilizing the parliament contributors and assembly contributors.
