No you wouldn't need to get a license to play a radio in the kitchen area. Now, if you were to have live music you would either have to pay ascap or a like artist union if the artist is to play cover songs. If they only play originals, you are exempt from that. However, if you have a jukebox... you will already pay the fee needed to use the music source what ever it may be... ie: cd, internet...

Techniqually yes you do. Would I probobly not as long as it's just employees. What I sugest is that you get a subscription to a satalight radio like muzik or xm business. Then who cares?
