my son had accidentally left the van door open when we came home at night. i left my phone in there to charge on the car charger. my dad woke me up when he had passed by my house and saw my van door open. i went out and the person/people had threw all papers everywhere including everything in the glove compartment. my cell phone was gone, my bfs bape hoody, and my christmas present for my nephew i had never got to give. well i canceled my phone and now i dont know if i should turn it back on so they can use it, and when i get my replacement phone to see who they are after reading about the stolen sk from new york. and if i do find them, ill be pressing charges against them for unlawfully entering and stealing my belongings and trashing my van. if that is a good idea...

Don't bother turning it on.. if they think it doesn't work they'll have ripped out the SIM card and exchanged it for another... you have NO chance to catch them unless you dusted for finger prints which i bet you didn't... so.. you got nothing

sorry to hear about that! that is harsh
but i would say, just get a new phone after u cancelled the stolen 1, and just move on
these criminals are hard to treak down, plus they might be extremely dangerous, dont worry, there will most certainly be something horrible that happens to these people, like dying a slow and painful death, or something
i strongly believe in that "the wheel turns..."
