these people are constantly deriding themselves by critisising their leader .he was voted in by a democratic society to make the hard decisions with the help of the senate, and the american people.the decisions are not made by george bush alone ,there are thousands of people involved and he is the man chosen to present these decisions to the world and consequently take the can for anything that happens as a result.
if you go against your leader you are a traitor and you weaken the country from the inside like the proverbial rotten apple.
wake up to yourselves put your energy into the country and your strength behind your leader.

I read somewhere that the Bush family was pro-choice until George Bush Sr became Reagan's running mate, and that Prescott Bush (W's grandfather) volunteered for Planned Parenthood.

Does anyone know anymore about this? What will it take for the Bush family to become pro-choice again?

NASA said we are about to go into another of our 30 year climate changes as our winter this year brought record breakers. So how does global warming fit into this when NASA said we have already started a cooling trend?

Is this really a threat to the sovereignty of the USA?
Are agreements really being made to form this union without our knowledge?
Could this proposed union explain the lack of meaningful action, by anyone in our government, to stop illegal immigration?

Also, I have considered working as a civilian employee for a branch of the military, but I don't know what kinds of jobs there are, and which ones are professional (a.k.a. decent paying, college degreed) jobs, if any. If anybody has any information about that, or just other ways that I could serve the country, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks.

As of tax year 2004, the data for income and federal income taxes are as follows (data for 2005-6 are likely to be substantially the same):

Group....% Income....% Taxes Pd
Top 1%------19-------------37
Top 5%------33-------------57
Top 10%----44-------------68
Top 25%----66-------------85
Top 50%----87-------------97
Bot 50%----13---------------3

If you think the rich don't pay their fair share, please take the time to answer the following questions:

1 - Specifically, how much more should "the rich" be paying than they already are?
2 - Specifically, how much less should "the middle class" be paying than they already are?
3 - Specifically, how much less should "the poor" be paying than they already are?
4 - In terms of the income groups listed above, what is "middle class"?
5 - In terms of the income groups listed above, who are "the rich"?

These questions are serious so vagueness (e.g., telling me how you feel) or ranting & raving will be reported as non-answers.

The story that the Clinton campaign released info that Obama went to a strict Muslim school was proven fake in about a day.

It was an attempt by conservatives to smear both Clinton and Obama.

The whole strory was made up at the Washington Times, Republicans favorite news source owned by the moonies.

Fox Noise picked it up without even bothering to check a story from a known fabricator of the news.

The guy was an outright plagirist who had no original thought. See John Mason. He was also a slave owner and adulterer. Alexander Hamilton knew him for what he was, why has this been lost in history.

It seems like they want everyone to be equal. If some one works hard and becomes wealthy, they tax the heck out of them, and then give the money to poor people on welfare (which only discourages them from working).

i don't get it...japan has apologized in the past several times...but now Dem's are pushing for a stronger language in their apology...why do they want to stick the US nose in asias business...isn't the issue of comfort women between china, south korea and japan...what point is it for us to say something about...or is it some noble act like when Carter stopped supporting the former iranian government on "moral" grounds....which led to hostages being taken and a new islamic anti american state being formed...or do they just hate Japan...japan has been sending billions of yen to both countries for several decades after they apologized the first time...

I do not understand, we state that we are about freedom and helping others yet we let millions of people die of starvation and invade countries and say what they do is bad, hen us invading them is exactly what we are condemning them for. Is America Dishonest?

...calls her on it ?
Last night the questioner posed a question re a legal ruling giving the president the "right to limit civil liberties in time of war., etc"

She cited "STEnek vs. United States"
The correct cite was "SCHEnk v United States."
Well, some of the answerers were looking for the link and could not find it.
Anyway, she made the mistake not us! Yet she beats up in some answerers because we do not agree with her re 911.

Even further, another answerer, who identified himself as a "lawyer" claimed that
"Stenek is a very instructive case and right in point. Your reading of it is correct (I am a lawyer)."

So Mr. Smarty pants "lawyer" gave an incorrect cite also.I guess he feels rather foolish. But she shouldn't have gotten mad at everyone because SHE made a mistake.

But "Lawyer" showed his phoniness even further, because a real lawyer would have said:
that the case was "right ON point"
Not that the case was
"Right IN point".
