jealousy

2007-02-17 11:50:09 · answer #1 · answered by A 3 · 1 1

It isn't a recent thing -- this country has been hated since it was created. I do not blame any person at all (although there are a good number of them who it isn't even worth my time to talk about), I blame the countries who actually hate us. It's simple -- they're jealous.

They don't even know it anymore, really, but they're jealous of us because we are now and always have been so successful. Why are we so successful? Because of our strong base in justice. People in the early days of the country developed such massive wealth because they were allowed to be independent in how they did it -- and they were allowed to keep pretty much all of what they earned. People knew what they were doing and they knew how to do it. Now we've let the government take over a lot of our independence, and our momentum from the early times is dying off.

OK, that's the end of my diatribe. It's simple jealousy! We're so much more successful, confident, and independent than any other country could ever hope to be that they can't fathom the thought of us keeping it all. They don't want to work for what we have worked for and earned, so they drag us down and demand reparations even though we've done nothing wrong (and in fact have given many of the complainers a great deal of aid at some point or another). My advice is to just ignore them. Keep being successful and independent and don't let anyone else tell you that you should be otherwise because they aren't that good.

Frankly, I don't think that we are the most hated country in the world. A lot of people want to come here to live, that doesn't sound like hate to me.
By the way, what what are you trying to say with the use of the word "latterly"? Just curious.

Really? Gee, that's too bad. I guess that is due to jealousy for the most part. Think about this: Who does any other country go to when they need help and aid? Mexico? Canada? Italy? the United Kingdom? Spain, Germany, Japan? No, they come to us. They mistakenly think if something happened to us the world would be well off, but if this country falls on hard times as in the 1930s the rest of the world seems to follow. Who bailed everyone out during both World Wars, Who feeds the biggest part of the world? Yeah, right, we do. If anyone disputes this you know where they can go. Someplace else.

Probably because:

a. We represent such a small percentage of the world's population yet use the majority of the earth's resources.

b. Bush does not care about international peace and will invade other countries without reason or proof.

c. American culture has a tendancy to encroach other cultures, and now we're seeing a backlash (ie, McDonalds in France, or Americanized Disney World in Europe)

d. "Give us your tired, your poor.." seemingly does not apply to Mexicans.

e. We generally don't like foreign things (ie, cars, the metric system, other languages)

f-z: probably a whole bunch of other reasons I can't think of.

You have been all around the whole world and you know this for a fact?

Recently? Or LATTERLY?

because in most other countries people are living day to day wondering where their next meal is coming from. Meanwhile they see and hear stories of how Paris' Hiltons POS dog is running around in shoes that cost more than their house and $10,000 dollar dog collar.

That's one reason.

The other is that we are the best country in the world. You are either rooting for the #1 guy or you're trying to bring him down.

Too many newspaper and television reporters broadcast that and many more readers and listeners believe it. If you tell people a lie long enough they believe it.

It is curious why so many illegal aliens are running across the border into the "most hated country" in the world.

America is trying hard to act like Nazi Germany. It invades other countries and tries to dominate the others with intimidation. It is the worst country in the world.
