Let's see. Mount St Helen erupted and spewed more pollutants in the atmosphere in one eruption than man has in the time we have been on Earth in total. But I forget, man is doing this.
There is a hole in the ozone in the Antarctic. Scary isn't it? What they forget to tell you is that it has always been there. It gets bigger and smaller at certain times of year. The only time they show a picture of it is when it is in the larger cycle.
The Earth may be getting warmer but give it time, the next normal cycle is when it starts cooling.
Of course we could go ahead and plug the volcanoes and all the fissures and anything else that spews pollutants....won't do any good but to make Gore and the wackos happy, come on, let's do it.
The sun controls our climate

Global warming should be called climatic change. The climate may be shifting, but I doubt it is because of humans. Al Gore is simply trying to get attention with his global warming spiel. His movie left out these facts:
1) 6,000 years ago, the earth was hotter than it is today. 6,000 years is less than a second when compared with the age of the earth.
2) Temperatures dropped in the 1950's and 1990's when CO2 levels were increasing.
3) 140,000 years ago the earth had record CO2 levels and there were no gasoline powered cars.
4) 20,000 years ago, Canada was one big ice cube and half of the U.S. was covered with Ice. The grand canyon was formed by melting ice ages over 20 million years.
5) The temperature of the Earth has only increased by 0.65 of a degree in the last 110 years. There were faster increases in temperatures around 10,000 years ago and there were no gasoline powered cars during that time
6) The theory has not been scientifically proven. Scientists who disagreed with the theory were not invited to contribute to Al Gore's movie nor were they invited to the conference about global warming.
7) NASA has said that great temperature changes are normal. Just 10,000 years ago, the earth warmed up extremely in less than 20 years. There were not many people around at that time.
NASA:
8)NASA scientific data has shown most of the changes of temperature are due to changes in the Sun. Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, and Pluto all have global warming right now.

Basically, "global warming" doesn't fit , but the climate may be changing.

I truly hope the world doesnt get locked in a spiral of warmer and warmer temperatures, but it seems like if arctic icebergs melted, the cooler temperature from the ice would diffuse into the gulf of alaska.
You can't measure global warming in just one place. Icebergs and glaciers are breaking apart all over the world. I really hope that it does reverse, though, I really do.

OK, I'm a republican, but global warming is real...and it's serious... The ice caps are melting!!! Duh the water temps will lower because they are huge chunks of ice cooling it off... guess what the water levels will also raise... Stick an ice cube in a warm glass of water and see what happens... hundreds of miles of glaciers are breaking off!!! you want to deny this!!! You pompous, self-righteous, arrogant people!!! Polar bears are being found drowned because they can not find land. Watch "An Inconvenient Truth". I don't care if you hate Al Gore. The facts are the facts... Politically he's a liberal democrat, but this is a moral issue... and he's on the up and up on this one! Just because your skin is boiling right now doesn't mean that the earth isn't heating up. Watch this storm season. See how many hurricanes there are. You go ahead and drive your big suburban and deplete the earth of petroleum. you just wait. you'll see. You will all see, but then it will be too late. If it doesn't happen in our life time...it will be in our children's'.

Yeah I agree with you. If we're experiencing global warming, then how can they explain the 100 inches of snow that fell on parts of New York State? I think this blows a hole in their "theory" of global warming.

In the 70's it was global cooling. Now it's global warming. Flip flop!

I haven't seen the report, so I can't comment specifically. What I do know is that there are competing climatological cycles of various frequencies. Given the level of complexity, I doubt that anyone really knows what is going on. They can't even tell me what the weather will be tomorrow

Those who believe the world is flat....
Put on some sun screen and pick another argument. Pretending 911 or the Holocaust didn't happen doesn't change reality, and denial of a global disaster doesn't just make it go away.

The liberals don't care about the facts, but rather only their nonsense. Gore needs a psychiatric evaluation big time, if only to see if he's even mentally competent to stand civil trial for his mass deception.
