Welcome to the good ol' US of A.
It's only dishonest if you believe everything they tell ya. It's only dishonest when proven to be. It's only dishonest if dishonest people tell them.
All the other times you have the illusion of this country being one heck of a good country who actually thinks and does things for the benefit of others. God bless us one and all.

America is a country. A country cannot be dishonest. It is just land with people living on it.
Our government, in general, is dishonest. You don't get elected into the government without money. It is hard to become a millionaire while being honest. These officials borrow money from corporations. The corporations got rich by being dishonest. Therefore, our government is largely dishonest. They do not support what the public wants, as it does not pay to do so. Our country is run by money and for money, and not for truth and justice.
As human beings in America, I would say that some of us are honest and some of us are dishonest. Some of us donate money to help people, some of us do not. Some of us claim to be Christian, while others behave like Christ. Some of us pretend to be good people, while others really are good people. People can be both honest and dishonest, and in general, I think there are more dishonest people than honest ones.
In that way, I guess you could say that the U.S. government, and many of its citizens are insincere and dishonest.
But there are also many honest people in America who care about others and don't lie. Don't give up on people in general, and try to vote for the most honest person you can find. Or run yourself. That's the only way to change the honesty of the government; don't reward dishonesty.

America isn't dishonest...the Government is. There are millions of Americans that disagree with the Government policies. Unfortunately those people have very little voice.

Yes the American government is dishonest I do not believe the nation on a whole is. It is up to the individual to be involved and question them at every chance they get. The war in Iraq was based on fabricated evidence and fear. Many lives have already been lost because of it, brave American military personnel who thought they were fighting a good fight and innocent Iraqi's. Its time for Americans to question thier leadership and expect them to respond to the questions with truth.

Government of any country is the biggest thief and liar there is. It's all about the power and the control over whatever. There is no honesty in that.

Yes, very. It's about power and controlling natural resources. No one really cares if the rest of them have democracies or not.
