I had a graphic artist create a children's character for me based on my description to her. She did a great job and I paid her for it but now I would like to know who owns the rights or what must I do to claim the rights?

all my friends have no problem with rednecks, but i cant even look at a girl thats redneck. the thought of a redneck hick creeps me out. everytime redneck comes up, i see that im the only one who is making fun of them.

Hi...I'm seventeen years old and am seriously considering the National Guard. I'm 6'2'' and a 140lbs (yikes, only one pound above the cutoff). I am in very good shape running-wise, I can run a sub 5 mile and distance running (10+) at a solid pace (6:30) isn't difficult for me. The problem is I'm not very strong at all. I struggle to bench 90lbs. Assuming I would do my training this summer, going into my senior year, how can I best prepare? I don't want to get there and be unprepared....I really don't want that. Thanks. Also, what kind of diet should I be on? I mean...I eat tons of food and by nature I don't gain weight, I'm thin...so I'm going to really have to eat to gain strength and weight.

Some of the cops in my town (Show Low AZ) are nothing short of lier's and theaves, I have spoke with dozens of people that have been done wrong "including myself", they will seize your property and if your lucky they will give you back what they don't want!

It was a savage crime and one which shook our Nation, unfortunately a dangerous prelude of things to come ! Why can't victims rights count for anything ? why do these animals deserve a second chance ? They bring their carnage here with them knowing they can cry racial vilivication when their caught ! My daughter who is working in UK wishes me and my wife to visit her newborn son. She is married to a Filipino nurse working in London and both had been working there for more than 2 years. My wife is unemployed and I work in government service in the Philippines. We are on our fifties and we plan to maximise our visit in London. We will return to the Philippines after the visit with no intention to migrate there .

dcfs in los angeles ca took my daughter when she was 2 weeks old.i tested dirty once when i was pregnant for meth. i enrolled in a outpatient program and stayed for 4 months then left. my daughter is 16months old now.i am not complying with dcfs but am not using. it is at the point now that the adoption process is almost finished. i am allowed only 2 hours 2 days a week. i have missed about 4 visits in 16 months.i dont get loaded anymore. i love my daughter very much. ilove her enough to know she is better off right now with her paternal grandparents. i still want and to visit with her . dcfs is pushing for adoption. all i have going for me is i love her and i have been very consistant with my visits.is there anything i can do to still get rights to visit her?is there anything i can file that will give me visitation rights? even if the family says that when the adoption is final i will not be able to see her. i go to court tomorrow. please help

WASHINGTON (AP) - House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said Thursday that President Bush lacks the authority to invade Iran without specific approval from Congress , a fresh challenge to the commander in chief on the eve of a symbolic vote critical of his troop buildup in Iraq .

Pelosi, D-Calif., noted that Bush consistently said he supports a diplomatic resolution to differences with Iran "and I take him at his word."

At the same time, she said, "I do believe that Congress should assert itself, though, and make it very clear that there is no previous authority for the president, any president, to go into Iran."

Pelosi spoke in an interview in the Capitol as lawmakers plowed through a third day of marathon debate in the House on a nonbinding measure opposing the administration's plan to increase troop strength in Iraq - and as Democrats readied a more provocative challenge to the president.

That included drafting legislation to require the Pentagon to meet certain standards for training and equipping the troops, as well fixing the time that military units must be given at home between deployments. "That stops the surge (in troops) for all intents and purposes, because ......they cannot sustain the deployment," said Rep. John Murtha of Pennsylvania, who said he would attach the conditions to legislation providing nearly $100 billion for the military.

Republicans quickly fired back. Rep. John Boehner of Ohio, the GOP leader, issued a statement saying the plan would "pull the rug out from under American troops in the combat zone by cutting off their reinforcements and forcing them to face the enemy without our full support."

Is it not unfair to see Western countries interfere so much with affairs of African countries? Even when they give them independence, they set up Neo-colonialism systems to protect their own interests (over-priced tenders, supply of raw materials at exploitive prices, expat jobs, etc.). It is hurting when Africa becomes their battle ground and innocent people die. There is no blood-shed in Africa without external influence!
