I convicted a drink-driving offence - Failing to provide specimen for anaylsis on December 2006. I attended to court and got disqualified for a year. I knew I was stupid enough doing that and I now truly regret. However it is so inconvenient to live without a car as I need to commute everyday...

Recently I read things about 'Appeal after court' and 'Conditional Discharge'. Just wondering in this case can I make an appeal to The Court? and say instead of banned driving can I do any sort of community services/other things to reduce my ban or to a conditional discharge.

Please tell me how, many Thanks

I'm considering all the different branches and which one I want to join. I'm looking into the MOS's the National Guard offers and they say they are in dire need of a specific one I'm interested and will give 20,000 dollars. Since they need it, and if I score well on their tests (I will score very well), and there are no requirements, its pretty reasonable to assume I'll probably get it, right? Does it matter if I'm only 17?

Are there any still out there?

If you are one of these or both, please explain.

Do NOT answer if you are anti-war/anti-Bush. We all know about that stance.

(PS I'm anti both).

Added Rep. Geoff Davis (news, bio, voting record), R-Ky., a West Point graduate who was a flight commander with the Army's 82nd Airborne: "This nonbinding resolution serves no purpose other than pacifying the Democrats' political base and lowering morale in our military."

Thank you Democrats. Let's not forget "comforting the enemy."

The governor is a Democrat, the Senators are Democrats and all except one member of the House are Democrats. (BTW, the State is Arkansas, a.k.a., Clinton-ville.)

Because although I think Bush has made some major mistakes, I respect him more than I do the Democratic Party right now. They are offering absolutely no alternative plan to Bush's, no alternative to staying the course, nothing! All they're doing is criticizing and causing division without offering a solution. This resolution they're passing accomplishs nothing positive. The fact is that we're majorly screwed up in Iraq right now, and you can point fingers all you want, but what we need are plans. Right now Bush is the only one with a plan. Democratic representatives want us to ditch that one and go with... what? Do you really support this kind of approach?

I don't think Bush's 'plan' will solve the Iraq problem. I agree with the Democrats that there is no purely military solution in Iraq. So let's see them offer one! Let's have them truthfully tell our troops what they will be doing if the Democrats have their way. Pulling out? What?

Give your honest opinion, whoever you are.

Personally, I think the United Stats stands for freedom. Not freedom just for me, but freedom for the little man. This country was born to fight oppression. It defeated the aristocracy of England because people were pissed of the fact that they didn’t earn points in life for not being the son of someone important. So, I can say that this country stands for something good. That doesn’t mean that this nation will always be well ruled.

I really don’t believe in the bloody guillotine, but for as long as I have a voice and plan to be a good citizen of this country, I will speak out and stand for what Franklin, Washington and Jefferson (Lincoln — the last good republican? — Roosevelt, MLK, Kennedy, Carter and Clinton fought for. Read the bill of rights and next election go out and freaking VOTE!

i asked him if he's been deployed to iraq..he told me at first he's not telling me the places he was deployed to. we met online and feel so close despite the distance. but when i ask him abt this stuff, i feel like his withdrawn or something. aren't ppl in the military allowed to talk where they were deployed to? sounds strange to me.

if you say the US gov should pay them a salary competitive with the private sector, so as to compete and ensure top grade judges....then why shouldn't the US gov pay teachers salaries that ensure our kids are taught by top grade teachers?

You know how they get at each other in Washington.
I know from personal experience how they get at one another.
I was one and a few others that were commisioned to paint the people that died in the columbine massacure. of coarse we couldn't just paint a memorial of the people because of the politics. They changed it into a memorial for 911 google travis klopf? In fact it seems that because of how messed up it is in the center of government possibly more tragaty came from the aftermath (which I saw alot of) than the accual tragaty. Is there any idea's how these people could learn to get along enough as to not play silly little games that ruin lives?

I believe that if we hadn’t went to war when we did there would have been a lot more attacks on the USA like 911 or worse.
And that we are still there to clean up the mess, if we pull out to soon the other countries would be mad at us for not cleaning up.
And how many remember the father G..Bush said when we were in dissert storm. (if we go in to remove Saudom, it will be another Vietnam) dose anyone remember this?
and everyone said why didn't we get sadom out while we were ther.
NOW we have and no one likes it.

NO one wants war, but no one want attacks on the USA
