most of the time the guards bring them in and sell them but visitors also sneak them through sometimes,I would say 95 percent are guards bringing them in or letting a visitor bring them in for a fee

As a former corrections Officer I will answer the best I can..

1. inmates relatives risking jail time to sneak it in

2. sometimes unfortunately Prison staff do it for the money

3. the most common way is the visitor brings in a new born baby, and pretends it is the prisoners baby (as if one who has been down 25 years has a new baby) the prisoner will pretend to change the diaper the drugs or knives are stuck up inside the infant child......that is the most popular because the adult visitors are subject to strip search , and cavity search , as in the infant being subject to such searches ..it gets a little more complicated there with the liabilities of a stranger ,strip searching an infant .even if a parent or so called parent is present... This is the only way at this prison there was no Inmates allowed outside the double perimeter fence if one from here was outside the fence by law he had to be shot so thet are desperate ,and care nothing about the poor infants who were sometimes ripped open on their rectums beause the amount was too big for the baby to contain , this was a State lock up facility we housed the ones the state could not control
most drugs are smuggled in to remain alive ,the dominate gangs such as the prison Muslims or ther 5%ers will find an easy target and demand they either bring drugs back from their visits or bring money ..if nothing is brought back the target is usually stabbed in the back of the head or chest ,,..each prison has it's own code for dealing with those who fail to pay for forced protection , I worked a Maximum Security Facility for six years in my unit had 96 inmates all but 4 were doing natural life,,guess who the targets were , little bad aa** kids around age 20-24 small frame guys too , I saw things I never thought one could see in this world Hope this helps.....this is research right ????
You planning on sneaking something in ????? or just info

That's a complicated question. The illegal drugs that are common on the street are actually very uncommon in prison because of the tight security. Usually in the rare circumstances when illegal drugs get into prison, it is smuggled in through prison visitors and new inmates. Generally speaking, its hidden in secret clothing compartments or in body cavities.
In prison there is a more common problem with drugs that are made from household items. These items are gathered from all around the prison and then secretly made by inmates.

I've been a correctional officer for 6+ years in two different states. The biggest majority of drugs come in through staff. It is a shame to say. The institution I now work at has fired about 6 people in the last 5 months. It also gets brought in by visitors, through the mail and occasionally by outside vendors. Some people will drive by, and throw things out of their vehicle. An inmate that is classified to work outside the compound will pick it up and take it in.

maximum drugs enter prisons through low down correctional paintings force as a rule , I had 6 years operating optimal protection , I actually have witnessed ,councilors , nurses , and certain even preachers , ((or chaplain)) , social workers , and certain even crammed in the rectum of little youngsters coming to visit the prisoner . There are some paintings force that do not get precise searched... ((and our state does no longer enable conjugal visits that grow to be stopped in 1989 , and Inmates do paintings contained in the detention center in the adventure that they are medium protection , besides the undeniable fact that there is not any pay , that grow to be stopped in ninety 4 , optimal protection inmates are locked down 23 out of 24 hours an afternoon .. you'll see things you not in any respect concept you would see ..I desire you properly , and be careful ....

Through the US Mail, inmate visitor's and/or their anal cavities, prearranged drops, and sometimes even prison guards, have been known to bring the illegal contraband into the institutions.

Drugs are muled in many ways....
visitors (depends on which level of inmate cause not all get face to face contact) bring 'em in (everything from in women's vaginas to baby's diapers)

sent in cards, on paper, stamps, etc (which is why mail is monitored)

staff or other employees bring in drugs or other contraband

I'm sure there are more but I can't think of anything else right now.

They have someone put it in a plastic bag, wrap it up very tightly with tape, put a little vaseline on it, and bring it to them at visiting. Then they wait till no one is watching , put it down their pants and slide it up their rectum. Its called suit casing. Then they wait until they have to use the bathroom, poop it out, take it out of the toilet and bada-bing, they have their drugs.

~That's correct. They put the drugs in a balloon and swallow it. Later, in prison, they poop it out - OR the guards bring them in.~
