I don't think we can or should drive the sunnis from Iraq. I'm in favor of carving the country into 3 territories, but Turkey is strongly opposed to a northern Kurd territory. The US Gov't and the Iraqi gov't doesn't seem to want that either, but I think it makes a lot of sense, if the overall government can account for fair and equitable distribution of oil revenues and maintain government control of the port at Um Qasar.
