Nope, why should I fear something that I have no control over, or why should I fear something that scientist can not agree is even happening. Just heard about a new report stating that we we heading for the next ice age does that sound like global warming. The amount of disagreement on this topic by the scientific community gives me cause to ignore the whole thing.

The sad truth is that the effects of global warming have been creeping up on us for years! Everything we do seems to be propelling us towards a disastrous end. Scientists believe that in about 45-50 years all of our icecaps will be gone! the effects are compounding up expenentially! i fear that even as soon as two years from now we will be seeing some major effects of our inaction to stop this seemingly unstopable wheel that's been set into motion!
The reason why scientists predict an "ice age" is because that's eventually what it boils down to...
global warming
= no ice caps
= less reflected sunlight off earth's surface
= major heating up of earth's surface
= major evaporating of the oceans
= major cloud coverage with not enough cold air to cause rain fall
= blocking out sunlight
= no sunlight
= drastic cooling of earth's surface
= ICE AGE
Asmuch as i love snowboarding... that just doesnt sit well with me!

This is a Christian perspective so if you don't want to read it go down to the next one.
Look...I'm not one of those kooks proclaiming that the world will end soon, but if you are a Christian (which by the remarks I've seen on here, it is a long shot) you will see the events in Revelation unfolding. Look at all of the wars in the middle east. Israelis are God's people. Iran is trying to take over Iraq to gain enough power to take over the holy land. Look at technology. There are plans to put chips in humans to cut down on crime. They can track your every move and they are thinking of making it mandatory here in the states. This would take Free-will from man. Global Warming is a natural process. I can't help but to think that God is turning the dials on this one. You can call me nuts if you like, but I have my faith and I don't care what you think because there is a God and I know him.

Actually, no..I do not. But that is a good question. There are not too many people that will admit to fear. Right now, there isn't anything that would surprise me.
