since they love guns and killing they can at least get to kill a few iraqis for us, and if they don't the iraqis can help execute them for their crimes. Win, win in my opinion. Don't worry they won't flee from iraq.

If not, why does our government encourage it? I thought we were a democracy - why do both parties have an unshakable commitment to globalization if it doesn't benefit the average American?

I mean no disrespect, and take no position on the rightness or wrongness, but is there a reason that Mexican citizens can't enter the U.S. on tourist visas? Why pay a guide a large amount of money, when you could use that money for a bus or plane ticket and be safe? What am I missing?

OK, so many people have been telling me that the second amendment was made so that we could overthrow a bad government, not so that I can keep a pistol by my side in a bad neighborhood.

So, I have heard that it should not be a right to own guns, but to be able to get them in case a state militia needs to be formed.

Could someone explain this. If we don't have the right to won guns, then obviously no one would be making them, right? So how would we get them if we needed to organize a militia?

rocks and shouting expletives to anybody who dares to walk down the streets and it stinks of f*****g hypocracy when parents say they are worried about the welfare of their children on our streets in the UK. These little bast*rds know that at such a young age that no action whatsoever can be taken against them and they are loving it. Maybe the parents should be beaten up by vigilantes.

This isn't a trick question or attempt at getting a rise out of sensitive American republicans. For the record I am a UK anti-royalist subject.
I am just curious about US history, I recently read that G Washington was descended from British aristocracy, and also reports that several US political families have "blue blood" including, Bush (Brit/German), Clintons (Brit/Irish), Kennedy’s(Brit/Irish). Is there much truth in this and how many American presidents have ties back to the old world royal families?

The United States government is telling me that I can be a murderer, a pedophile, a rapist, commit armed robbery or any other type of violent criminal act, and can still go to college. Personally, I think it's an underlying conspiracy against African Americans because it's well documented what race is being prosecuted and convicted of selling drugs at an alarming rate. I'm sure mainstream American won;t agree with this, but that is to be expected. Check out this link to see another controversial law that Washington state is trying to implement.

so i was watching the news last night and they were explaining that bank of america is allowing immigrants to have a credit card as long as they have a bank account and no overdraft fees for 3months! now i know this may offend some of you but it upsets me because i have been here all my life and anytime i want a credit card i need to use my social security number and because their immigrants they don't have to! i understand they may want a better life for their family but it is unfair to those that have been citizens from they day they were born and can't apply for credit cards or loans without using a social security number! we have citizens that are legal and struggle to provide for their family yet immigrants can come here and apply for credit cards and new fancy cars and new homes. i mean they can have a very lavish lifestyle without having to use a social security number. i know all of you won't agree with me but i need help understanding why thats fair?

So, Air America is shutting down.

Why did it fail so drasticlly? Don't the left support those views? If the left and the Democrats are so in vogue, why does traditionalist, conservative talk radio continue to grow?

I married a US citizen and we have been living overseas for 2 years now. We wish to move to Los Angeles, CA, where she wants to work and I wish to finish my college. Can I study in college this way? Is it possible for me to apply to any kind of financial aid for college?

I want peace, love and harmony and I'm a tree hugger who wants to fight global warming, doesn't eat beef, and advocates ethical treatment of animals. I respect all ethnicities and religions and believe we should focus on cultures'/religions' similarities- not our differences.

However- I'm also against tolerance of violent crime (much tougher on crime without resorting to death penalty which I don't think is the answer), out-of-wedlock sex, abortion, and for freedom of religion. I worry about decay of the family and think that stronger nuclear families need to be reinforced.

I think libs don't have a sense of right and wrong, but cons are hypocrites and their actions speak the opposite of their words. In other words, one party sucks, the other blows.

First , one can not become an authority on this issue just by watching a movie. That is a completely uninformed and lazy way to learn about a topic.

Many, many, many scientist have shown that the earth goes through drastic climate changes every 6,000 - 15,000 years. This has occurred long before man or the Dinosaurs were here.

Our last Ice age was what, around 10,000 years ago? We just may be due.... Scary but true.

So, why do the far left use this issue as a political topic??

Unlike trained law enforcement officials here in New York State, Locally appointed "code inforcement" officials or "building inspectors" are used to circumvent the fifth amendment requirement for a warrant to enter onto private property by corrupt local governments. Is there a legal basis for this?

I'm just confused as to how one party could realize one thing is wrong but then find another similar thing totally ok. Both are abused. Instead of legalizing abortion only for people who need it (rape victims, life-endangering health risk) they legalize it for everyone! And instead of legalizing weapon use for self-defense only- they legalize it for everyone! Most gun fatalities in this country occur accidentally in the home, and abortion similarily also usually happens when people don't even need them- they're granted one just because they decided to screw out wedlock-the choice occurs then. No one knows the concept of reason, responsibiliy and moderation anymore it's so sad.
