So, Air America is shutting down.
Why did it fail so drasticlly? Don't the left support those views? If the left and the Democrats are so in vogue, why does traditionalist, conservative talk radio continue to grow?

You know, I love talk radio... not just the conservatives, but liberals like Rachel Maddow, etc. too.
The problem appears to be that liberal radio just isn't entertaining. They have a few good hosts, but not as many as the right.
Another problem is that radio as a media form takes a lot of patience to grasp fully. Something I have found many liberals lack. They are more interested in television for their news/entertainment.

As a liberal I never heard a single broadcast or advertisement for Air America. Where did they broadcast from?
I listen to a couple stations both non political.
Sometimes I scan AM while driving. There are numerous Hate Radio Stations; but never once have I heard a pro American word from the radio.

Why would you listen to either? All these mouth pieces are an act. They pray on the gullible and exploit their fears and xenophobic tendencies. The fact that you, either need someone to tell you what to believe, or need to be convinced of your beliefs indicates a rather weak intelligence. Just listen to the commercials on these shows, talk about marketing to the weak minded.

They fail because they can't speak the truth. They can only feed leftist propaganda because the Dems write the paychecks. conservative radio on the otherhand is not backed by a party. Therefore more than one side can be openly discussed and opinions can be made.

It's because they (the libs) repeat the same agenda over and over again and it is boring. The conservative talk show hosts not only point out the wrongs of the liberals - they point out the screw ups of the republicans as well.
