My fiance gets pulled over the other night driving my car. It happened to be unregistered. It expired like 35 days ago. He gave HER a ticket, and not me (even though the car was registered under my name)...I registered the car online and paid my $44 to the NYS DMV.

Is it possible that the cops could send me a ticket for not having a registered car?

If they were going to give me a ticket, they would have to give it to me by then right?

Can they send one after the fact?

Anyone know NYS law and how NYS cops work?

Any information on this would be greatly appreciated.

Not everyone believes in God. Certainly I don't. It offends me to read the stupid phrase every time I use paper money. It would be better to change it to "America the Beautiful". This way no one would be offended. Do you agree?

My husband and I were recently made redundant. I am in the process of starting my own business (very early stages) so haven't actively looked for a job yet. I have never claimed any benefits before and have paid my stamp since I was 21. I want to know if I am entitled to any form of benefits/monetary help from the government. We have a mortgage for £100,000. No children
We live in manchester, UK.
If anybody can let me know what I may be entitled to claim
and how I would go about it, that would be great.

It seems to me that North Korea is extorting money and energy aid from the rest of the world. It is basically saying, if you don't give us money then we are going to develop more nuclear bombs.

As in the 1990's, North Korea got energy aid but there was no really good way to make sure it stopped its nuclear weapons program. In the end, we learned North Korea was deceiving the world. And just like today, there is no really good way to make sure that North Korea has stopped its nuclear weapons program.

North Korea has appeared to make fools out of everyone again.
