They take the child with them.
It is only through a perverted interpretation of the 14th amendment that the child is considered "American"

The Supreme Court has never made the determination whether or not the 14th amendment grants automatic citizenship nor could they in good conscience.

The author of the citizenship clause inserted the phrase "and subject to the jurisdiction of" because he wanted to make it perfectly clear that the mere accident of birth was not sufficient to grant citizenship.

Despite the explicit written instruction, the geniuses in our government have perverted the 14th amendment and decided to grant citizenship to the offspring of any woman who can stumble across the border and drop anchor.

Regardless, the parents can decide to take the child with them or leave the child for others to raise.

I don't understand why being born here makes the child a citizen. If a cat has kittens in the oven, they aren't biscuits after all. It's too easy to sneak across and have your baby here and then claim they can't leave because their child is a citizen. Seems very much like killing your parents and then asking the court for mercy because you are an orphan.

the little ones might want to probably be pondering their moms only because a mom shouldn't go away a baby in the back of, or placed into adoption and foster houses. The regulation ought to get replaced: if you're an unlawful immigrant, your newborn should not be an American citizen if born in u . s . a .. It creates a very unfair loophole.
