last time I posted this the libs got me kicked off. But dont you find it interesting that
1) Hillary voted for the war, now says she will get us out by 09, yet when confronted in NH this weekend gave a typical political BS non answer
2) Hillary criticized "W" in 04 for having "Pioneers" those who raised over $100,000 for him and now she want her top fundraisers to raise ONE MILLION DOLLARS EACH!!

Do we really need more Clintonian semantics over words etc. The evil witch must go!! The Clintons will do and say ANYTHING to stay in and regain POWER. They are truly dangerous

I am not sure exactly why we are there now, sometimes I hear it is to keep America safe from the axis of evil and sometimes we are there to bring good old god given democracy to the poor people of Iraq. anyway lets say you had to decide because we wanted to save ourselves from evil and bring our values to the downtrodden sods in Iraq but it meant sending your child to the front lines to fight, would you do it?
as far as I know there are no senators or congressmen or any white house high ranking staff with their kids fighting in the Iraq war, so I am wondering if it would make a difference.

I think the US and the Democratic Iraqi forces are under too much pressure to run a 'clean war'. War by its nature is killing people. People that die violently are usually in pain when it occurrs. It is what it is...

But the Liberal and anti-American media tries to spin collateral damage, interogations, and 'killing people' as a war crimes. It is not. It is dangerous situation and the enemy needs to be killed. The media spins this as an 'illegal war' but it cannot be 'illegal'. Nations have the right to go to war with other nations. There is no 'international law'.

If our country really wants to save the troops, it should call on the removal of all MEDIA from the region so the US will stop loosing the psy-ops battle.

In my opinion, prison is meant to reform, not to punish. Trying to reform criminals while keeping them locked up with lifetime inmates with nothing to lose makes in nearly impossible to help rehabilitate.

We also have limited resources, many children are uninsured, yet all the inmates in for life get free health care. I think as a practical measure, anyone who it is decided cannot reenter society should be COMPLETELY removed from it.

A lot of questions and answers seem to degenerate the UK.
It makes it look as if living in the UK is not a very nice experience right now.

If our country is truly a free one and we have the right to chose in every aspect of our life, then why do so many people expect immigrants(legal or not) to adapt to our culture and not retain their own? I have seen so many people on here spout off that immigrants should adapt to our culture. What is american culture anyway but a melting pot of cultures from around the world. Learning our language and laws is one thing, but when it comes to traditions and religion and the language they choose to speak with one another, is that not a choice that our freedom allows them to make. Why do so many expect them to start living as we Americans live and forget where they came from.?

If a Muslim is devout in his beliefs, can he be trusted with the security of our nation? Doesn't his religion say that he must submit to Mullahs, which means that they could influence our politics? Doesn't Islam refuse to acknowledge the Bible, which our principles are founded on?

And if this is all bunk, and a "good" Muslim can deny all of these things; wouldn’t they be denying the teachings of the Quran? Wouldn’t that make them a hypocrite to their own group?

Just wonderin'......

feel about our country?
i mean when im on this site people always slam Americans saying we think our country's the best in the world.

arent you supposed to think that your country is the best on earth.
its called nationalism and just because Americans have it the Britts hate us for it?

In my oppinion if you dont think your country's the best on Earth, you should move to where you think it is and not spoil it for the rest of the patriotic citizens.

So i have 3 questions:

1. Why do Britts hate Americans for being patriotic?
2. If you dont think your country's the best on earth should you leave?
3. Why aren't Britts as patriotic about Brittain as we are America?

Not meant to encourage any mean spirits, so no racist b/s ok?

You can always tell when a person is conservative because they will not say Barack Obama, but instead Barack Hussein Obama. Are you trying to tie him to things americans dislike?

There are a couple of websites where you can take a quiz about your political views:

http://www.theadvocates.org/quiz.html
www.politicalcompass.org

You are welcome to post others for review or reference.

I score as a centrist on both of these, a little to the left on one and a little to the right on the other.

This amazed me since most people call me conservative, right winger, religious right, etc and I consider myself to be a moderate conservative.

I was wondering how many people agreed with where they ended up on the map with these political quiz's?

Typically this statement refers to the rank and file worker.

Is it true?

Companies in the same industry but with different growth rates and profit margins tend to pay their blue-collar labor at about the same rates. Is the Gap lagging other retail outlets because their blue collar workers aren't stacking the shelves as well? Or is it because the designers and buyers and management - all of whom are at high risk of losing their jobs - are performing poorly?

What if a company loses money - should the assembly-line workers share in the losses?

Who adds the value to a company - the people who design the product? The people who figure out the most efficient way to mass-produce it? The people who secure the patents and capital to mass-produce it? The people who provide the capital, who could lose their entire investment? When you buy stock in a company are you considering these people or the guy who loads boxes of the company's product onto a truck?
