You can always tell when a person is conservative because they will not say Barack Obama, but instead Barack Hussein Obama. Are you trying to tie him to things americans dislike?

I meant why do many Conservatives/Republicans on Yahoo Answers make sure to use his middle name? Those that pointed out this mistake were right. But if you look through yahoo answers, you will see that anywhere his full name is used, he is normally being bashed.

Yes. They're trying to tie him to things Americans dislike.

That said, it helps to remember that not *all* conservatives/republicans do that. And it's not as childish as twisting his name into something else entirely, as many on these boards do.

I have conservative friends, and they have never referred to him with his middle name. They would not vote for him, but they simply call Barak Obama, or Obama. Note: I don't know if it matters to you, but I am an independent.
Are you referring just to conservatives in the Media? Or to those that you know?
I have heard those in the Media throw in the middle name, but I really do not see how that would change the mind of the average American. Some would be persuaded by that probably, but there are also Americans that would refuse to vote for Hilary Clinton because she is a woman, regardless of her politics.
Some people make up their mind based on rather odd reasons, at least from my perspective.

I've only seen that a couple of times - mostly they, like everybody else, refer to him as Obama or Barack Obama.

Why are you asking this question? We're trying to get to know who he IS for God's sake. He's running for President!!!!! It's his NAME! I'm sure I never heard anyone saying anything when Bill Clinton was referred to as William Jefferson Clinton.

If Barack Hussein Obama is ashamed of his name, then he should change it. Maybe he could be Barack Clinton Obama, or Barack Roosevelt Obama... but he has a name, he says it is who he is...

Until he provides them with something real to hate him for, it will have to be his name. My mom used to say that was why kids made fun of my name...because they didn't have anything better about me to make fun of. She was right, as usual ;)

Um, not every conservative does that. I don't use his full name, and I'm conservative. Quit stereotyping.

They are trying to make a negative connection because they lack the evidence to discredit.

Maybe I'm wrong. But isn't that his name? Who cares if his full name is said. Maybe your the one who really doesn't like his middle name.
