1) the major Body is the House of Reps if you are just counting numbers, they have 435 members, but the Senate with 100 members is generally considered to be the "Upper Chamber"
2) Representative government is just that people chosen by their peers to represent them in whatever capacity.
3) True and False, sometimes Congressional Committess will hold hearings out of town, but the full congress does not ever convene out of DC

1) It depends on what you mean by "major." The United States Congress is made up of two houses, the US Senate and the US House of Representatives. The Senate is looked at as the big brother of the two. I'm guessing that that is what you were wondering.

2) Representative government is just what it sounds like: government via representative. A select few are chosen to govern the whole.

A representative government means that people select their leaders through states or provinces. Every area is represented in the central government who in turn chooses the Chief Executive.
