In my opinion, prison is meant to reform, not to punish. Trying to reform criminals while keeping them locked up with lifetime inmates with nothing to lose makes in nearly impossible to help rehabilitate.

We also have limited resources, many children are uninsured, yet all the inmates in for life get free health care. I think as a practical measure, anyone who it is decided cannot reenter society should be COMPLETELY removed from it.

All murderers & child molestors if found guilty should be put to death. Saves the world from repeat offenders & our tax dollars feeding & housing them.

That is a very hard question to answer - but here in the United States - we have crime because we tolerate it!

I would be all in favor of executing all individuals who have committed three seperate "violent crimes" which caused serious injury/and or death to any person. -

Agreed. If someone decides they are going to take the "right to live" away from a US citizen then they themselves give up any claim / right to the constitution's protection.
