Does any one really care what he did before he went into politics?
On a scale of 1 to 10 there must be worse things surely!

Or perhaps the pollution from Earth's "evil" industries is somehow making it to Mars?

Maybe a simpler explanation is that changes in the sun are causing the heat increase on BOTH planets?

A friend of mine get arrested for possession, and got probation for a year. He had to submit to drug tests and stuff, and recently he went in and there was alcohol in his system. He is 20. I haven't been able to get a hold of him since he went to court for this violation. Is it likely he's in jail? How can I find out for sure if he is?

I have read many posts on Yahoo, and the Conservatives seem to be so out of touch with reality that I assume they are uneducated. They make no valid arguments and resort to name calling and other childish games. Are there any intelligent Conservatives. I know Bush is not one.

“The degrees to which decisions are ethical are also influenced by organizational culture”. Smith and Johnson differentiate three general approaches that organizations take to responsibility:
1.Social obligation: the organization does only what is legally required;
2.Social responsiveness: the organization responds to pressure from different stakeholder groups;
3.Social responsibility: the organization has an agenda of proactively trying to improve society.

What should be the approach to ethics in order to be able to justify a decision based on ethical criteria?

When Clinton lied-nobody died ( not to mention the disgraceful acts of Starr and the right wing attack dogs). Over 3000 Americans and untold tens of thousands of innocent Iraqi civillians have died for a madman's dream. How is this and a BJ comparable?

i just watched a documentary on the vietnam war, and there were lots of interviews with vietnam vets. why did the US send so many vets to vietnam? is it because they sent animals into the war to fight? that's really unfair. why should animals have to fight a war caused by man? i hope the vets managed to save many animals and heal them.

Do you think bad drugs would have never been made illegal if there were as many users of them as there were of alcohol at their time of being scheduled?

Prohibition comes to mind when I think about this. U.S. tried to make Alcohol illegal in the 20's/30's but this failed. Why? Because alcohol has been around for centuries before meaning its user base would have been very large in the United States. When it was made illegal these "users” got very upset and angry witch caused more crime than alcohol started. As a result they decided to make alcohol legal ounce again.

So ask yourself why this didn't happen with cocaine, marijuana ECT. I simply believe it was because their users base wasn’t near as high as there were alcohol consumers. Thus when they made these illegal there was not many to complain about it or a high demand for it, so crime was very small. Same with marijuana besides money is also a big factor in marijuana as to why it’s illegal.

Being that Obama's mother is white, do you think the results of his campaign for President would be different if he had MARRIED a white woman instead of an African American woman and how do you think both of those will affect his campaign. Please give thought ful answers.

Please people I am really interested in knowing how people feel about this, so say how you really feel. We all know that people don't vote only on the issues, they vote on their perceptions of the candidate. Some people vote MOSTLY on their perceptions of the candidate.

Iraq is a big problem...the unfortunate truths are that bush should have not made the big mistake in a first place of leading us into a unjustifed war with no plan.
our 2 options are leave or stay. If we leave we risk Iraqis resenting us for tearing down their country and leaving them without a plan or real leader. Undoubtedly there would be future problems...more terrorists, wars etc. However if we stay we risk them resenting us for controlling their government (which is why they resented us in the first place) and making them a puppet nation for us while we profit off of their resources. Ultimately, we will see reprecussions for a very long time if we go down that road.
There is NO real way out...so I propose a quick phased withdrawl, bring em home rebuild moral (rebuild our military)
This is an area of the world that has been at war since the beginning of civilization. Changing them is as hopeful as changing any other stubborn man.
thoughts?
