Or perhaps the pollution from Earth's "evil" industries is somehow making it to Mars?

Maybe a simpler explanation is that changes in the sun are causing the heat increase on BOTH planets?

The polar ice caps on Mars freeze and unfreeze in an annual (in Mars time) cycle.

The layers of ice that are being exposed in the Antarctic haven't seen open air since the time of the dinosaurs.

Earth and Mars had basically the same axis, nature and characteristics. Thus, it is just normal that when ice caps melts on Earth, so will it be in Mars.

I was on Mars just last month. It took us eleven days to mush to the southern ice cap. There were blizzard force winds and it was 230 below. There was no sign of Martian warming. I have heard of this false report before, but as one who has been there and has experienced the bitter effects of the cold Martian climate, I can tell you there is no danger of global warming on Mars.
