Did you know about the Border Patrol rules ?
Did you know that the two agents followed BP policy ?

Ramos and Compean were convicted last spring for shooting Osbaldo Aldrete-Davila, a Mexican drug smuggler, in the buttocks on Feb. 17, 2005. The agents are now serving 11 and 12 years, respectively, in federal prison.

The agents were convicted partly due to the government's successful argument at trial that the two men failed to file a report about the shooting.

But U.S. Border Patrol firearms policy specifically states that agents are prohibited from filing a report if a shooting incident takes place and that only an oral report to supervisors is required.

"Ensure that supervisory personnel or INS investigating officers are aware that employees involved in a shooting incident shall not be required or allowed to submit a written statement of the circumstances surrounding the incident," according to the firearms policy.

i was visting a freind at a college in delaware. i currently live in new jersey. i was beaten up pretty bad, 7 stitches in my ear and a pretty bad concussion. the police did come and the kid was arrested, but not specifically for the assault on myself. he also broke several windows and put a couple holes in some walls. i went to the poilice station the following day to press charges, being i have no insuarance and im sure to get a hospital bill. but the cop i needed to talk to they said would not be in until then next day. this is where i need some help. i had to return to NJ before talking to the police officer. is there any way to press charges from new jersey on the kid?

If it comes to it; there could be a choice between an african american and a woman. How politically correct is that?

Would that influence your decision or would you vote on policies? Do you just take the "party line" regardless?

Asking because i am interested. I'm English by the way.

What's the best way for enforcing putting a deadbeat on child support? I'm due with my 1st baby in 2 weeks and I plan on putting my sperm donor on child support, but they say they will need his SSN and I don't have it...he's NOT going to give it to me cause he knows what I plan to do. He moves around so much that I don't have a steady address for him. What can I do besides get a lawyer? Anything else they can use besides his SSN?

Is anyone else tired of coming on here and reading question asking why one side of the political spectrum is hard working, honest, true Americans and how the other side is just filled with inhuman, moronic, and flat out evil people who are trying to destroy the country or the world? Is anyone else tired of reading about how liberals are terrorist or republicans are nazis or how liberals are soviets or republicans are all ignorant, blood thirsty rednecks?

Is there really any point to all of this back and forth name calling and finger pointing? Is anything being accomplished or are we do we just have such a profound misunderstanding of people a little different from us that we think that some how, they do not have human qualities? Is anyone else tired of all this pointless debate and pure, misplaced, and often fabricated hate?

Why would someone risk time and their money to create a business if there was no chance of a significant return on their investment?

We know that 95% of businesses fail.
We know that it takes a few years to break even.
We need entrepreneurs to start and expand new businesses to create more jobs and create economic growth.

Why then after all this do liberals think it is a good thing to tax and regulate businesses so heavily?

The DHS report, which was heavily redacted, notes the discovery of the cell phone as follows:

Aldrete-Davila stated that he had nothing in his hands as he ran toward the international border. When asked if he possibly could have had a cellular telephone in his hands, Aldrete-Davila reiterated that his hands were empty. He advised there had been a cellular telephone in the van, but stated it was left behind. [Agent's Note: The Form I-44, Report of Apprehension or Seizure, completed by Jose Compean, noted that a cellular telephone was discovered inside the van.

The DHS report failed to include the Form I-44 referred to in the above paragraph.
I can't figure out why so many high-ranking officials in our government are assisting this known doper and are actively trying to throw members of Congress off the trail by continuing to lie and misrepresent the facts."A full transcript of the Ramos-Compean trial has not yet been prepared or released by the U.S. District Court in El Paso. "It's shocking that Sutton continues to say there was no evidence on the scene against the drug smuggler, then we find out that DHS had Aldrete-Davila's cell phone all along," "All this makes me wonder who the drug smuggler Davila really is," Ramirez told WND, "and who Davila might have led to, provided Johnny Sutton had been interested in investigating. I can't figure out why so many high-ranking officials in our government are assisting this known doper and are actively trying to throw members of Congress off the trail by continuing to lie and misrepresent the facts."

I was really tired the other day and didn't feel like going to work. So I thought for a minute, "Gee, wouldn't it be nice if I were a liberal?" I mean, then I could just go on welfare and ask the government to provide me with everything I needed. But after a cup of coffee, I cleared my head of that nonsense and went to work.

Ever happen to you?

If a police officer has broken the law and you witnessed it… can you do a citizens arrest and arrest him with handcuffs. What would happen if the police officer resisted and instead fought you? You would lose because it would be considered as if you assault him. What do you think?

Would it be difficult somehow, for example, to prosecute someone who killed a prostitute because the prostitute had also been engaging in an illegal act (prostitution)? I'm guessing this is not the case, or else no one could prosecute murders of drug dealers or other such unsavory types of people, and that would add up to a lot of murders. I'd appreciate any reliable information and websites.
