If it comes to it; there could be a choice between an african american and a woman. How politically correct is that?

Would that influence your decision or would you vote on policies? Do you just take the "party line" regardless?

Asking because i am interested. I'm English by the way.

Excuse my ignorance, Did not realise they were both Democrats. But one of them still has to be chosen i assume. No offence meant to any one.

It doesn't matter if it was a green alien. America is sick of the Republican party. Period.
If you don't believe that all you need to do is review the last elections where dems took over the senate and the house. America is at a turning point...with global warming, our dependence on oil, human rights, healthcare.
We are a changing nation, the old timers are getting just that...OLD...and although they will leave their mark on their offspring. There are far too many people of the younger generations not willing to see things their way. We love our capitalism but I really think that America is turning a more socialistic stone of values.
and I think it will be about time because this country really needs to live up to it's definition once and for all.
To further answer your question, I like both barack and hilary and I haven't decided on which I'd vote for but i'm leaning towards hilary. I feel she best represents my interests but I'm not closing my ears to barack just yet.

For any election you have to realize that it is not much of a comparison between the candidates as much as it is a comparison to the last president. Based on that you have McCain who is basically duplicating Bush, Rudi has very less chances of making the Republican nomination, so you have Hillary and Obama. Hillary has the Clinton years to reflect on and would stand very strong in the nomination race. If Obama some how makes it, then most importantly we have seen over and over again America votes on personality not policy, example Bush/Kerry or Bush/Gore so it would be President Obama.

Very unlikely scenario as they A-A and the woman belong to the same party and will only run against each other in the primaries so in competition they will face maybe 40 or 45% of the American electorate.

What are you talking about? I am assuming you are referring to Senators Obama and Clinton? They are both Democrats. America will vote as it always has, however the media tells them to. Americans (I am one by virtue of the fact that I was born here) tend to think with a group mind. The "sheep" mentality...just like cindywhateveryourignorantnameis

This is what I mean about P>C it will end up by us all being cloned - fifty years time and a different man / woman equals lets say American clone - man or woman no longer recognised.

I have never voted party lines, I vote my conscience. I would never vote for Hillary. There is a possibility I would vote for Obama if he makes the final ballot and does not have a more qualified opponent. (I do believe that Obama will be POTUS in the future).

I don't think people care who is running for president. What people will be looking for is how the potential president will respond to the Iraq war and what their foreign policy is.

It sounds like you don't know that Obamma and Hillbillery are members of the same Democrat party. Since they are all closet racists and limousine liberals they will vote for Hillbillery.
