Are you kidding? Politics has never been a bigger hoot !

Back in the grim days of Nixon, even political satire somehow seemed a bit depressing. But nowadays, when we have fantastically stupid and hypocritical people like Michael Moore and Al Franken, politics is a blast.

Have you EVER watched Bill O'Reilly's show, "The O'Reilly Factor" on Fox News? You couldn't ask for better entertainment. (I just wish he would lose his temper more often; it's like seeing a volcano building up steam).

Are things too serious? Well, back when I was growing up there was the possibility of nuclear war between the U.S. and the USSR. Well, that threat is gone, so perk up a little, will you?

Secrecy? Loose lipped Congressmen can't wait to spill the beans about every little tidbit of secret information that passes their desk. Secrecy was more absolute during the Cold War, believe me.

The hilarity will only get better and better. Imagine this: the Democrats nominate Hillary Clinton for President, while the Republicans finally convince Condaleeza Rice to accept the nomination. It would be like watching the light-sword fight between Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker.

On the one hand, you'll have the Queen of the Shrews, a wretched, bitter, coniving woman you imagine can send armies of winged monkeys to do her evil bidding while she stirs up trouble in her witche's cauldron.

Opposing the Wicked Witch of New York, you have Condi Rice, who will have to be every bit as quick witted, determined and resourceful to beat her enemies as Uma Thurman was in "Kill Bill Vol. 2".

C'mon, as Elton John sang in Midnight Creeper, "A little bit of fun never stopped no show."

The last vestiges of The Greatest Generation are watching their children, the Worst Generation Ever, with disgust and shame. Everything they fought for is being perverted. The Baby Boomers children X and grandchildren Y watch with disdain. The ex-hippy Neocon Baby Boomers did not learn the lessons of their generation and they are so blinded by their personal addictions to base pleasure and consumption they cannot even see this, it is a State of Denial.

There is no fun with liberals because all they want to do is take more of my money from me and give it to programs that do not work.

We have an ideology that wants to kill us and liberals refuse to fight them. All I hear is the president lied, we need to leave, we cannot win, etc. Nothing about how to finish what we started nor how to defeat terrorism.
