Can we say to stop Hussein because he killed all those Iraqi's, haven't we killed more Iraqi's than him because of the war?

If you are an american... ask your President !

If you are British... I can't answer this question !.. NO troops SHOULD be in Iraq when the REAL SOURCE of terrorism lies in AFGHANISTAN.. NOT Iraq - contrary to popular belief.

The 21,000 surge troops being deployed from US Forces should be sent back to AFGHANISTAN to replace the 77% of US troops that were withdrawn from there in 2003 once UK/NATO Military help was given to USA to fight in the war on terrorism in AFGHANISTAN ONLY.. NOT Iraq - which was a US invasion against International rule of law and advice.

British/Nato troops I believe, are in Iraq by default because of a weak puppet named Tony Bliar (sic) and he wanted to help his mate George W Bush out... for what reason I and thousands of otheers have yet to fathom out.

Well, there is sort of a democracy. As soon as we leave Iraq, the government there will fall. If we were to leave next year, the country would erupt in civil war. However, if we wait about 10 years and then we leave, then all that will happen is the country will erupt in civil war.

But seriously, we need a staging ground for our war with Iran. If you think that we aren't going to war with Iran, you are not paying attention to what is going on over there, or you are too busy listening to Bush's "salamandering" around the issue.

Is it just me, or has the office of the Presidency become the laughing stock of the world over the past 14 years?

Hmm...

All we are saying
Is give War a chance
Hand out the ammo
Let the Army advance
They haven’t attacked here
Since we’ve taken that stance
Peace didn’t work, SO
Lets give War a chance

We were living quite peaceful
Kind of minding our own
Not Bombing the Balkins
Or throwing a stone
We looked at our towers
With pride in our glance
They stood so majestic
While we gave peace a chance

Then out of the blue sky
A plane it did come
And shot like an arrow
Towards tower one
We watched it in horror
A terrified trance
What evil would do this
While we gave peace chance

Now all we are saying
Is give War a chance
Hand out the ammo
Let the Army advance
They haven’t attacked here
Since we’ve taken that stance
Peace didn’t work, SO
Lets give War a chance

Then o’er above Penzy
A phone call got through
And the man who received it
Knew just what to do
He heard of the towers
Of the terror advance
Said “We’re all gonna die now
If we give peace a chance”

So they summoned their courage
And bravely they fought
For the lives of many others
For their own not a thought
And though they did perish
The plane fell like a lance
Their remembered as heroes
‘Cause they gave War a chance

Now all we are saying
Is give War a chance
Hand out the ammo
Let the Army advance
They haven’t attacked here
Since we’ve taken that stance
Peace didn’t work, SO
Lets give War a chance

Yeah, Peace didn’t work, So
Let’s give War a chance

And if War Doesn't work then
Lets give Nukes A Chance

The first answer given is the best so far. If we leave Iraq before the democratic government can support itself, the entire region will be drawn into a war. America took many years to develop into a stable democracy. Anyone who thinks America went to war for Iraq's oil obviously hasn't compared the oil prices of today with 4 years ago. America presently gets no oil from Iraq and will have to pay market cost for it when it is bought.

OIL, OIL , OIL...look at a map. Even our invasion of Afghanistan is about oil (we are building a new pipeline there as we speak). The whole Bush military excursion, including the bombing of Iran yet to come, in the middle east is about controlling the worlds oil supply...and thus the world.

This thing was planned 20 years ago and first surfaced as "the Wolfowitz doctrine" during the first Bush administration in 1991. This group (Wolfowitz, Rumsfeld, Cheney, Dan Quayle, Jeb Bush and more) formed a "think tank" called the "Project for a New American Century" (google PNAC) when Bush I lost to Clinton in 1992. When Bush Jr got "elected" in 2000 it was GAME ON for the New World Order bunch...all they needed was "a new Pearl Harbor" as they stated in their document "Rebuilding America's Defenses" published in Sept. 2000.

Lucky for them Osama Bin Laden took down the towers exactly one year later and they have been executing their plan for "a New World Order" every since.

Who ever said we were there for weapons of mass destruction? We are there in the name of freedom. America has opposed saddam since day 1, and we have brought freedom to Iraq. The ones fighting us in Iraq, or the ones protesting the war here at home, are the terrorists that hate freedom. We need to kill all the terrorists, then we win.

on the top, the powers that be declared that they not in any respect suggested that Iraq had WMD's. They suggested it on information educate after information educate after information educate. That it grow to be not in any respect their rationalization for moving into, besides the undeniable fact that they are on video as having suggested so. Yellow cake uranium is unenriched and would ought to flow through an enrichment procedure. you are able to not use it in that state to create a WMD. also they confirmed particular places from satellite tv for pc pictures of the WMD and named them. It grow to be discovered they both weren't what they concept or they were in the type of state as to rend them ineffective in each and each and every case. after all, they suggested there have been WMD's and then they denied they suggested it. it is mendacity. Now they discover some thing both ineffective and say "look, we were actual about what we denied declaring." LOL And certain, we did promote Iraq fingers no matter if any of you want to trust it or no longer. data are data. we needed Saddam in potential.

There is a fear amongst the Bush admin that the people will vote for what they want. And what they want is not a government that suits the oil men enough. So we will be there until all bow down and support the fake liberty we act like we are giving them and if they don't then well you watch the news and see what we do to the ones who disagree, unfortunately people still believe we are there for freedom or whatever flavor koolaid is being handed out.

Revenge. According to George W. Bush Saddam Hussein was the man who nearly killed his dad. And how many people have lost their lives because of that baby's revenge.
