I was told there is a regulation that say english is the only language that is to be spoken in the military workplace unless it is part of your officilal dutys to speak another language

We are getting a good sum of enlistment bonuses from my husband's enlistment into the Army.

It has been explained to us, the amounts, times it's given, ect. We know all that info.
But how do taxes work out on that? Is it the same percentage, or is it different for any reason?
We live in Ohio, and it's going to be 20,000 total.
Has anyone been thru this already yet?

-The government is often inherently inefficient
-Private charities or churches could pick up the slack
-Government should protect personal property, not take it

Does anyone know a good site(s) where I can learn some issues about politics? I know nothing about them really.

vote on his plan to finish the job in Iraq . That's a given, it happened . OK, now can anyone explain to me, why in the world he would ask for that . He already knows that the vote, however close, will be Against his plan . So why would he ask for the vote ? My guess is, he wants EVERYONE to be on record. . .. . supporting or not . Then what happens .. . . . .. .He just RISKED his entire political career, nevermind the 2008 Presidential Elections !! He KNOWS it will work, he has an ACE up his sleeve !! And he wants Democrats and weak-kneed Republicans to be on record, so that, AFTER the plan DOES work, only the faithful Republicans will survive. . .. .. . . and the Democrats ? Oh, they'll ALL GO DOWN IN FLAMES !!

My neighbor is a spin-biscuit. We live in a duplex, she above our place.
She shrieks, slams, kicks the floor
--complains to us about the heat being too cold when its set at 25C,
--she thinks we 'turn the heat off on her' if it isn't actually blowing out the vents(we even offered her a portable heater, which she refused),
--she told me not to use the ceiling fan that came in our apt when we moved in,
--she has yelled at our guests and family members when they come to visit!!

What can I do?

I have been documenting everything--can I get a peace order, or file harrassment or something?? This has been going on more than a year!

do they count your juvenile record when you got it expunged like if you had joyriding charge when you were a kid then as an adult you had attempt ed grand larceny auto or you had a theft charge as a juvenile then you stole as an adult would they count juvenile record later as an adult if you got it expunged as a kid

Lately people are getting in my nerves because they keep on posting up questions that sound real racist by saying that we (the mexicans) are taking their money, jobs as if we were aliens planning an invasion attack againts them. I dont understand why their saying that because immigrants actually help the american economy by doing the jobs that all the americans dont want to do. Also they have forgotten that not so long ago their ancestors were immigrants and that this country was founded by immigrants!!!! But o well it is wat it is and i hope that they realize some day that America needs the help of immigrants to keep this country running. And before i finish every one should stop and look at the news because last time i saw they were reporting that there was lots of money being lost because of the crops that are getting spoiled because there is a shortage of Mexicans to work in the fields.
