My nephew had an assault charge as a teenager, he beat up another teen that had sexually assaulted a friend of his. When he turned 18 he hired an attorney and had his record expunged. Anything that you commit after that is yours to keep for the rest of your life. This was is in Oregon.

It depends on the government regulations of laws in your state. It is a possiblility that some records do get expunged with the aide of a lawyer sometimes or go directly to the judge.

Juvenile records are not expunged, they are sealed. If, later in life you are with a similar crime, a judge can have your record unsealed. Obviously, you didn't learn your lesson as a juvenile, and that will likely factor into how you are sentanced in these offenses.
