Who else here is mad that all these Americans are posting wrong assumptions about immigrants and Mexicans!!!!!

Question

Lately people are getting in my nerves because they keep on posting up questions that sound real racist by saying that we (the mexicans) are taking their money, jobs as if we were aliens planning an invasion attack againts them. I dont understand why their saying that because immigrants actually help the american economy by doing the jobs that all the americans dont want to do. Also they have forgotten that not so long ago their ancestors were immigrants and that this country was founded by immigrants!!!! But o well it is wat it is and i hope that they realize some day that America needs the help of immigrants to keep this country running. And before i finish every one should stop and look at the news because last time i saw they were reporting that there was lots of money being lost because of the crops that are getting spoiled because there is a shortage of Mexicans to work in the fields.

It pisses me off, and I'm an American. I despise that so many people here feel the need so spread such hatred and ignorance. I'm certainly not one of them, however, and I apologize on behalf of my "fellow citizens." Hopefully, they'll soon forget this and leave the Mexicans alone. It seems to me that most Americans just need someone to hate, for whatever reason, and I'm sure it won't be long before they find another ethnic group to look down on.

But all of you responding are right. Mexicans should simply sit on their hands and watch their families starve, now that they can't legally immigrate because Bush has essentially halted legal immigration. *snort* I don't know about any of you, but I would work illegally to save my family from starvation and misery in a heartbeat.

Edit: Oh, shucks. I've gone and said that the US isn't perfect. *sticks on velcro bullseye* There. That'll make it easier.

I dont see where illegal immigrants are helping Americans that is a LULAC lie. Lets state the facts:
1) Illegal immigrants put in about 7 billion a year in the economy they take out 57 billion a year in the economy.
2) Illegal immigrants reduce wages when they take jobs that are lower than the minimum wage with no health benefits all legal immigrants and Americans suffer becuase we pick up your health bill as illegals do not see doctors only emergency rooms.
3) Mexicans are the only people that have caused the U.S. school systems to teach bi lingual education. People from France, Italy, Poland, Germany, Korea, India and other countries learn how to speak English and paid from their own pockets to take English classes.
These groups of immigrants did not demand a free ride.
When is the last time you made a phone call in the US and it stated press one for French or Korean?
4) America is the strongest country in the world what makes you
think we need illegal mexican immigrants or any illegal immigrants? It is the only country in the world where people die trying to get here
5) Most illegal mexicans refuse to speak English and behave as Americans owe them something for being here and fly the Mexican flag.
6) Every Mexican Neighboorhood and business lately have only Spanish signs and look like little Mexico. Koreans, Chinese and other ethnic and national groups business signs are in English/
In other words mexicans refuse to assilimate, All other immigrants assilimated.
7) The marches of 2006 just stated that you are an agorant bunch of people who believe American needs you instead of being humble to be here. You went so far as to wave your mexican flags in America... which stated I am a Mexican and I can do what I want.
8) Mexicans song the National Anthem in Spanish that was a direct insult to all Americans.


Americans are a proud and illegal mexicans have gone to far you can only push Americans so far you are aware of IRAQ arent you? There is no amensty and the free ride is over.

I just post the facts as I find them at places like the library of congress website. Overall only about 22% of illigal aliens work in the fields of the 20 million that are here. The impact on the U.S. is around 700 million to the negative and going up every year. Most of the people in prison for the worst crimes are mexican nationalists. These are just the facts. I have a few really good friends who happen to be mexicans but they are legal they feel the same as I do about illigal alians no matter what country they come from.

I dont think they are racist. I think maybe you as a proud Mexican assume that all the posts are against you and your people. They arent. Illegal means anyone, reguardless of race, who enters this country, without proper authorization. The Mexican people seem to think they have cornered the market on this, but the fact remains that it applies to all Illegals. I also think that doing "jobs thats Americans wont do" is just that, a line of crap. There are plenty of people willing to earn this money. It has been proven that only a few of these so called "jobs" are filled by Illegals. Furthermore I dont think anybody has ever asked Legal Americans if they mind giving up thses jobs. The cost of Healthcare and handouts to these Illegals are overwhelming to the U.S. One last though here, I dont know of any other country but ours where an Illegal can occupy and have rights. If an Illegal goes to another contry and occupies it like they do the U.S. they will wind up in jail. If they want to be here then become Legal like the rest of the people who came here and they should contribute to society by learning English and and paying taxes like the rest of Americans, honor our flag. And oh ya, I just spent 21 years in the military so people like me can voice our opinions and people like you can say others are racist.

Americans of all races are mad as hell too!!!! What makes you think you have the only right to be mad?? Read some of the posts here from illegal aliens and those that support them. They want to sneak into our country illegally, abuse the system, raise our crime rate, and then blame us for not accepting them with open arms. The employers hiring them are at fault, and hopefully, slowly but surely, as has been happening lately, they will be cracked down on. The raids in the last few days were a refreshing move for all of us that LOVE our country. I can read post after post on here that shows "they" hate us and it shows!! If someone hates you, it is only human nature to hate in return!!!!! And since the original poster brought it up (Mexicans), your own countrymen that came here legally resent other illegals for cutting in front of them. Do you doubt this??? Ask them!!!! We built the schools and we pay for them and our children are entitled to a good education in them.

We still build them and pay for them but millions of children of illegal immigrants are crammed in with ours taking disproportionate education funds due to the language barrier, and our children can no longer get a decent education in areas where illegals concentrate.

If wages went up to where they were before the illegals started swarming us in the last couple of decades, there would be plenty of workers for the fields.

We take in about a million people a year, legally, and that is already too much, by me. However, those people have a right to be here. The illegals do not, and are stealing education from our children and health car from our sick.

lets put it this way. Not only mexicans, but many other people from other countries are tearing a hole in our economy, since they recieve Job benefits, and wages, but are not taxed. The IRS does not come knocking on their door, and saying pay up, because they are undocumented in the US Bureau of the Census. Also, more than 60% of Homicide arrest warrrants in LA are for the arrest of an illgeal alien. Heck, they were even creating job shortages for a time. I do not generalize about mexicans, in fact I have many friends of Hispanic ancestry. What I really hate is all the illegal people messing up our country!!! :(

Ok ,let's not put a color or nationality on your question, but here you are ,a person who is a legal resident of this country,and you paid a person to do a job and he stiffs you and takes your money and does not complete the job and you find out that your money and the person you hired is back in his country. Crops being spoiled because we don't have enough illegals to work the fields??? How many illegals does it take? That sort of discredits your point don't it?
Most are not against Mexicans, or legal Mexicans...we are against illegals of any nationality...it just happens that Mexicans make up the majority...and I do mean the majority. AND for the record there are NO jobs Americans won't do...we do demand a descent wage.
The statics do show that it is costing each American citizen...even the LEGAL Mexican citizens... US taxpayers is about $55,000 for each...that is EACH illegal, over and above their "normal" tax contributions.
